Hello
I just switch from s3 to note 4. I want to hide the items from memory card in the gallery section. In s3 I just have to rename the file name with (.) in the front then the folder will not shown in gallery but will able find it in the MY File folder. I have over 90Gb in the memory card so I can't transfer it all to note 4 and hide it. Any other option? Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to androidforums!

I don't quite understand your question:

Could you just put the old sd card in the new phone
or
Transfer the data to a PC and then to the note4

There are apps that can protect access to a folder with a pass code.

Could you explain in more detail what the issue is and what you have tried already?

I tried to hide the files from the galley. I have over 90 gb memory from the micro sd so I can't transfer all to the phone. The phone memory is not big enough. So on my Old galaxy S3 I just have to rename the file with a dot in the front then the folder from the micro sc is disappear and only able find it at "my file". But the note 4 is not able to do that. any clue?

If these are pictures that you don't want showing up in gallery, here's what you can do:

Using a file explorer, move all the content you don't want showing up into their own folder or folders.

Create a text file (easier on a PC and move it to the phone), completely empty and blank. name it nomedia.txt

Using a file explorer, copy nomedia, txt and paste it into whatever folder(s) on your card has the content you don't want showing up.

That's it! Gallery will scan your card, see that nomedia file, and skip that folder and its contents from inclusion.

Try it: if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
