Anybody tried Advanced Calling with the M9

It works for the audio as calls between my wife and I were much clearer after activating it. Making video calls is weird though. On my wife's Note 4, her standard dialer now has a video option. My M9 can accept video calls, but the dialer doesn't give me the option to make video calls. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Yup, on Verizon it takes away a lot of good features, it is definitely a Money Maker for VZW, it is not good for the consumer. I tried it and turned it off in about 2 hours of testing.

What features do you lose? I don't even see how it really makes Verizon any extra money. It still works off your phone plan not data so I don't see what difference it makes.

Ok, thanks anyway. So far the only negative I see with having it on is dropped calls if a person loses the 4G signal. There is also the fact that it can only be used with other people who have it. That cuts down it usefulness, but my wife has it and I talk to her on the phone more than anyone else, so it's not completely pointless for us.

I have had the option pop up to try this and have denied it thinking it would be an additional charge. Is that the case?

I don't think there is a charge... been too long, go to www.verizonwireless.com and login to your account.
Then look at the features you have turned on/off on your phone.
it will show the $0.00 value of each feature.

a lot of them are included in your plan.
