Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] [ROM] [F3] Xperion ROM *Updated 2/13/2015*

Hello GT, great work and loved this ROM, however, I have the LG LS720 model from Boost, and while I had this working before, it no longer works for me now (previously, my ROM was made into the MS659 and then into the Xperion).

Wondering if there is another ROM you or someone else has made for the LS720? I am currently running V8 of the ROM. I can easily downgrade to v5.

People with the virgin mobile f3 flashed this and freedom kernel and managed to run it perfectly fine. It should be safe considering others flashed it without problem.

Has anyone else had trouble with wifi speeds on this phone with this ROM? I get about 2.7Mbps down & 3Mbps up on my 20/3Mbps internet connection at home.

I'm using the stock kernel. Everything else was working so well (including battery life), I was reluctant to dick around with the system any more.

If I go into the wifi settings, it currently gives the Link Speed as 65Mbps. I'm fairly certain it's not my router, since I tested a 2.4GHz connection (I belive the F3 only does 2.4GHz) from my laptop to my router without similar problems - and I'm pretty sure I tested the phone speed on wifi networks other than my home one, as well.

Is there a troubleshooting app or log file that I can investigate to help run down this problem?

I just installed xperion rom and it doesn't install correctly I tried it once it just glitched and had the stock boot up and the second time it just got stuck on black can you please give me a solution I can't flash it correctly.

Aside from following the directions listed with the rom there is no other way. Make sure to have the recovery listed with the directions. Download the rom again just in case you got a bad download. Most importantly make sure that you're installing this on the metro pcs or t-mobile f3. Other than that if you can't get it to install then check around the forum for another rom that you might have better luck with.

I made this rom based on the metro pcs firmware. Metro is using the t-mobile network so it shouldn't be a problem as confirmed by other p659 owners that are using the rom without issue.

So by using the metro firmware it doesn't affect my T-Mobile bill and while I'm using the ROM I'm still using the T-Mobile network

As stated in my previous post, there's other p659 owners using this rom without issue and that includes billing and network. Beyond that I can't say any more since I don't own this phone nor do I have t-mobile service.
