Wondering if I should have waited for G4?

So I got impatient last weekend due to issues with charging my G3 and purchased a S6 Edge from Best buy last weekend without contract now I am wondering if I should have put up with the charging port issues for a few more weeks? I really like my G3 and I have been having fun with the Samsung S6 but I take a lot of pictures and am wondering if the G4 would have been a better choice. Best Buy only has a 14 day return policy on cell phones does anyone know when the G4 is coming out in the USA for At&t? I would like to see these side by side and see what the price is going to be?

I'm sure I read June 2nd on Phandroid, but all I can find is this: http://phandroid.com/2015/05/17/lg-g4-availability/ which just backs up what IBT says. US/Europe appear about midway through the rollout.

I have been reading reviews on both the phones and now I am more confused than ever! I loved my G3 and am having fun with the S6 Edge but the Camera Features are the most important to me and it is such a toss up! I take a lot of pictures and sell on Ebay and don't use a regular digital camera since phones these days are just as good. The display on the Edge is amazing the curved edge is so cool, the side notifications are nice, and I can hear the phone vibrate and ring so much better! I am missing the LG interface, knock to unlock , on screen controls, back power and volume controls and a few other small things. I wish I could afford both but I can't. Help!

Get the LG.

Everyone is really happy with the S6 models.

Until auto rotate stops working.

Or hopes for an update occur to fix the multitasking problems cropping up. (Don't expect a real solution - you're now running Clean Master - http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...mobile-security-and-innovation-300043298.html ) (I recall reading that LG could go that way but I can't find links supporting that.)

Actually the biggest reason is because to me, your post screams out that your instincts say to get the LG.

Trust your instincts.

If the trouble is the cognitive dissonance created by the shiny new Samsung, the above info is likely to help with that.

My recent history. LG G2, HTC M8, GS6. Really liked the G2. The M8 was solid (the 3rd one) but sort of tanked after the Lollipoop upgrade. The S6, nice phone, not as nice as the reviews (but - I did get 12 months of Netflix - so, no real regrets). Was on the fence with the G4 - saw the Battery/memory promo - will probably jump on it as soon as I can.

The to me - the G2 didn't do anything (IMO( great - but it was just a fun phone, and things seems to work - I'll be BACK!!!!

So far the battery life on the Samsung is a little bit of a hog it seems like my S3 was or is better because I still have it anyone know if the G4 will be better I know LG is having the promotion where you can get the extra battery and SD card which looks pretty cool.

Okay So I was getting ready to get stuff of the S6 edge and return it and wanted to make sure I could pre-order the G4 and I noticed that you can only order three colors for At&t so far from them and so I went to At&t website and they do not have it available for pre-order yet. Do you guys think that Best Buy will have the other colors and if they will be able to pre-order? I have a best buy card and that is how I want to buy it. I want white I am not so sure about the leather. Oh yeah Best Buy is an hour away from where I live so I don't want to make the trip until I know for sure I can get what I want.

Best Buy what a waste of my time! Such idiots! sorry for the rant! I drove an hour and no one knew anything or really wanted to help me. UGH! It is a College town in Oregon that I had to drive and hour to and you would think the really young kids would be excited about the new device. I being in my early 40's am more excited. They didn't even know it was up on the website or if it would be available in the white color I want or if I pre-order the color they have now if I can exchange it when it comes in for the white if they have it so that I can get the gift card. I said I would think about it and be back and went to the mall and did some shopping. I went back to take the S6 Edge back and I stood there forever and no one wanted to help me so I just left. Poor customer service! I have been in customer service in many aspects even management for many years and I just wanted to thump that kid in the wireless section. sorry for the rant just upset about wasting my time.
