Help Aux has audible feedback and popping sounds?

So I got myself a G3 recently. After going through the bugs with Lollipop, I finally downgraded.

I'd hoped this was a bug, but it's still around. Whenever I plug my phone into my car stereo via a casette tape (old car and stereo, so I'm limited) it emits sounds that just ruin the music experience.

When I use headphones, there's no noise like this and it plays fine. Music plays via aux, but has the popping noises and feedback.

Anyone know a fix?

I'm running stock Kitkat on a Verizon G3.

EDIT: Also, my device is now rooted, in case there's a fix via root.

Maybe if you posted a pic of your car set-up w/the phone,people will get a better idea of what you're talking about & have some suggestions................

Maybe if you tired reading my post, you'd know I explained how it's setup...

I clearly state I'm using a cassette tape in an old car stereo...

Maybe if you paid a bit more attention to the details of it,others would have already chimed-in.

So,you have some sort of cassette tape adapter,or what?
Also,there are members here who may not have a clue as to what a "Cassette Tape" player is.........

It's a cassette tape adapter that plugs into my headphone jack. People really don't know what a cassette tape is? It shows up as "Aux" when plugged in. Plays audio, but crackles and pops.

One thing I've learned over years of Gerry-rigging things is that the cables and connectors are the cause of 99%of all problems.

Headphones have a different jack than the connection between the phone and the aux, so I would start there. Try a different cable just to see if the problem persists.

Only half-joking regarding the "What's a CasetteTape" crack.

You'd be surprised...................then again,maybe not,especially those who grew up w/o seeing one.
They may have heard of it,but,don't bother looking any further as to WTH is it........

Any progress in the popping/cracking from the adapter use?
I know from seeing/hearing many friends cars when I was growing up in the age of cassette/8-Track tapes,a lot of DIY'ers had interference/noise from the engine,even hearing the turn signal blinkers clicking over the speakers.
As the previous poster mentioned,I'd check all the connections for a good fit & overall condition of the wiring/etc.......

It only happens with my G3. It didn't with my Note 2 and still doesn't with my girlfriends Note 2. Same for my friends S4.

Still happens. No change. No issues with the stereo or anything since it's limited to my G3.
