Root CM12.1 UNOFFICIAL RC5

Man..i wish I could flash this. But where I live there's no bars and I depend on WiFi calling and texting. Probably flash this to test it out some. Every phone I get I swear a month later hroark gets it. Much love and thanks for your incredible work! Will make sure to donate! :)

yeah, I dont think anyone can get the wifi calling working on an AOSP ROM, if someone has done it in the past on CyanogenMod, and you can point me to there thread, I would take a look at it, but it will be low on my list.

The main thing I want o try to fix is the sensor, I need to put back the stock sensor and get it to work without all the lagging, I think it is an Selinux issue

then I want to get data working for non T-Mobile users, and maybe get the stock RIL files working

gonna be harder for me to test RIL / Data now, I just got an LG G4 and switched to Verizon yesterday, and I am pretty sure I can not use a Verizon SIM in this phone

This is irrelevant to the grand scheme of your post but Android M has WiFi calling baked into the AOSP code. Its far fetched as hell but the N6 on T-Mo just got the M developer preview with WiFi calling. Given your skill with code, you could maybe sift through and see if it helps (that's just one of those really out there suggestions).

OTOH, real quick, how is the G4?

Edit: and on the note of data for other variants, a simple APN fix did it for us T-Mo people, think it would help to check the APN configuration file in /system/etc?

Yeah, If no one has done it on Cm12, I wont be able to, the thing that I am really good at is getting ROMS started, like getting it to boot and stuff, which a lot of people find hard, all this other stuff, like fixing sounds and ril and data, I kind of suck at, and it stresses me sometimes

I tried the Striaght Talk ATT Apn and it did not work for me, I wonder if any non T-Mobile people or Metro people got data yet ?

So far the G4 is pretty good, I chose the G4 over the S6 Edge and the Nexus 6 because it has the removable battery and the sdcard option, I have not rooted or done anything with it yet, to be honest I was happy with Galaxy S4 on Straight Talk, but I have a butt load of Verizon Giftcards that I want to use now, so I switched to them, and needed a VZW phone

I have the metro variant as well and was able to get data working with a quick APN change to use both ip ver 4 and 6 as well as switching to LTE. On a side note I have noticed as a metro user I am able to use either the T-Mobile or Metropcs APN and receive a flawless LTE connection either way. This isn't restricted to CM either, worked on stock/butternoob.

First and foremost, thank you hroark13! My issue is that I'm unable to install apks. Ones that other people in CM 12.1 can install, and ones that I used prior to flahsing CM 12.1. Is there anything I could do to fix this? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!
More Info: I'm on metropcs and the exact issue is that when I go to the Package Installer, it will say "intalling" but will then say "app not installed" every time.
