Root CM12.1 UNOFFICIAL RC5

but, then again...he did mention that bug in the OP ...so he knows it's going on....he's doing things fast enough...
I'm glad he stuck around

last flash I did was a recovery...maybe I boogered something up before I created it and didn't even give it a chance.....

I'll flash it again tonight...fresh..see if I just leave it alone..if it'll fly straight...

even if there will be issues...I'm still looking forward to it....
it's like driving an unfinished street rod...makes me all giddy even if there are no brakes

My proximity sensor works fine, its off when its near my face and on when I pull it away from my face automatically. No issues there.

hey did you have a 444 phone or 442

your file does not fix my sensor issue, so I am gonna guess you had 444 on it originally
Yeah I came from BNv2 (4.4.4) before installing this ROM. If its any help, after I flashed alpha 1 and my rotation sensor was all wonky, I flashed your fix for the sensors before [later] flashing CM12.1 beta 1

OK flashing this should fix it, and make your sensors normal, it worked for me, my phone was a Univision model running 4.4.2, I am not sure if this will fix a different model

what I had to do to make this file, push the stock sensor hal to the system, delete sns.reg, boot cm12
then pull that files to keep
then push back the x9180 sensor hal, and sensors worked

to test more, after sensors worked, I flashed the sns.reg i provided to fix the stock rom, and then boot back in to cm12, and it was screwed up again, and screen was going black during calling

went back ino recovery and pushed the new sns.reg I generated and just pulled, booted back to cm12 and sensors worked and no black screen

So bottom line, the sns.reg files needs to be generated in cm12 with stock HAL or maybe a 444 rom that should have the stock HAL, and can not be gernerated by the X9180 HAL we are using in beta 1

not a big problem, as long as we have the files to flash now if we need to

I was on whatever build the stock 4.4.4 version of the MetroPCS variant was, that's the base of Butternoob v2, BNv1 is based on Android 4.4.2 T-Mobile build. Maybe try getting someone with a Metro ZMAX to send you the file to see if it helps?

i already fixed it, I was able to generate a good file for my self

there are different builds of 442, the lates version for Univion is build 22, not sure what it is for TM

I need some one to test this x9180 RIL on beta 1

if it does not you can just reflash the rom zip, no need to wipe or anything
I have metro originally running 444 I never flashed butter but I have flashed all of you zips for fixing ril and sensors. I set my apns to ip6 and radio works fine.

New to the entire community. I've read every single page before I signed up to make this post. I've done some jailbreak work and advised other developers in the iOS community. I came from the stock 4.4.4 made a full backup. Installed this ROM. The only issue I have is with the data going in and out also with Netflix app. I think it both might have something to do with the file the is reads the device info from. Did so searching and discovered it's a file call build.prop I'm going to compare the file to the stock one and see if I can get something going on. My sensors work fine no lag. No screen off when I'm in a call. However I flash the patch the the developer posted if I need it.
