Root UltaLolli ROM for LG Ultimate 2

Ok, I found the problem. I had to go into Heads-up notifications/settings/App filters/ and uncheck Xposed Installer and now the downloads show up.
Does heads up still work, I also flashed the lg camera, on first boot it says optimizing apps and android is upgrading that's normal,

When I tried to flash, I'm getting 'error executing updater binary'.

I booted into twrp v2 recovery. Went to WIPE. I performed a factory reset and then Advanced and wiped system. I then tried installing the ROM and it gave me that error. So I restored my backup successfully. I always verify the md5 of my d/l and it checked out. I redownloaded the ROM and get the same error when installing.

Go into mounts and uncheck system. Then flash again ;)

Hmm. When I went to mounts, system is already unchecked.

EDIT: In mounts, I tried checking system and re-unchecking system. Installing ROM still produces the error executing updater binary.
Try wiping data, dalvik cache, and cache, then from twrp menu reboot to recovery, then try flashing again.

Ok. That allowed it to flash the rom. Problem now is for some reason there is no keyboard, voice comes up but is not functional. I assume this is a dirty install? I was able to get into twrp from power off and did a factory reset. Same problem. Am I wiping the data correct? You tap WIPE and then swipe for factory reset?
