Root How To Root Your Samsung Avant

OK so I just found out the newest kingroot app will root our phones. But it gives you the kinguser instead of supersu. I couldn't get avant exploded to work properly. It downloaded the recovery.img but would not flash. So I used flashify and now I have twrp recovery. If anyone can tell me how I can replace kinguser with supersu it will be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything

There are two possible reasons why avant exploded did not work.
[1] It wouldn't work because you have kinguser instead of SuperSU.
[2] It wouldn't work because you didn't install busybox.

In order to get rid of kinguser you will have to delete it and its binaries from inside TWRP's built in file manager, then flash the SuperSU zip I linked to in the op.

Quick question about the Kingroot app . Besides the obvious reason of not having to use a PC or be familiar with Odin what if any are the differences between using the Kingroot option compared to using Odin to obtain root permissions ? Are there any negatives ? I did see that you will have to install Superuser app of course but beside that is there anything that should be noted? What process do you guys recommend? I appreciate any information you guys have. Thanks !

Will I still have root and be able to flash if I delete kinguser and binaries? And yes I'm sure avant exploded wouldn't work with kinguser

Your system will not be rooted but you will still have twrp which will allow you to flash SuperSU.
This means it will be easy to get rooted again.
I actually flashed the latest supersu earlier thinking it would get rid of kinguser. I have it installed as a system app. Only problem is the supersu binaries will not update. And when I try uninstalling kinguser I lose root then I have to root with kingroot again which installs kinguser again. You know any workaround?

Do you have a recovery installed? If you do download the SuperSU.zip, uninstall kingroot and flashcthe SuperSU.zip it will install the binaries and the SuperSU app

I have
If you have a recovery to flash things wipe system and flash stock ROM then flash supersu.zip, I know metro has one somewhere on here, not sure about t-mob
Edit
here's Metros
here's T-Mobiles
I have flashed supersu. I said that in an earlier post. I have supersu installed on my phone now as a system app. Kinguser grants it root access. The thing is the binaries will not update. I think kinguser won't let it. And if I remove kinguser and try to update it won't. Because I lose root. I'm not that tech savy. But I know there has to be an easy fix

No I mean after you flash the stock ROM, so all the kinguser stuff is removed

OK I see. But the thing is I don't have access to a computer right now. And even if I did that I would still have to use kingroot again to root it. I guess I'll just have to deal with it for now. At least I do have root. Only thing is some apps you have to have supersu. Avant exploded for example

Do you have a recovery installed. Twrp cwm or Philz? If you do and when you get a computer you can flash the stock ROM, it will completely erase everything off your phone and install new items and remove kingroot. once you do that install SuperSU.zip and it will be rooted with SuperSU installed.

So far I have only seen rumors of a possible lollipop update. I can tell you that low end phones like the avant almost never get updated to a newer version of android.
Would CM12 be possible on it?
UPDATE: I have found a lollipop rom for it but it removes all samsung functionality. (which i like) I think that the avant could handle lollipop.

Has anyone made a lollipop rom for it? Isn't there a Cyanogen mod rom someone made with lollipop?
There is a cm12.1 ROM (lollipop 5.1.1) in the works but it is still a long way from being stable for daily use. It builds, it boots, that's about it. Almost all of the functions are broken or have been removed because they were causing build errors.

Anyway if i had that CM12.1 rom installed when it is finished, is there any xposed packages that would add some samsung functionality?
