Root The struggles real....no root

Help anyone I am struggling with obtaining root. For the past week.!!!

Not my first rodeo with the root on this phone so let me give some history. I have obtained root twice once by curiosity the second following your instructions for perment root.....kingroot, twrp, supersu zip. I have tried butternoob v1&2 and cm12. I am back to stock 4.4.4 for metro. I have twrp 2.8.6 custom recovery. I have used every method known to this forum... Fresh factory restore after restore, Uninstall after install of kingroot both 4.0 & 4.1, data and cache clears, power on and off (no reboots). Browsers with 25 tabs, multiple launchers, atutu, ram-eater, playstation emulators, task killer killers, with ram at 5% threshold. With no amount of luck to get past 50-58%. Wth am I missing???? Any help please would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You have access to twrp? If so just download the supersu flashable zip and flash it from twrp.

If u havent.... Go to Settings, about phone, build number, tap seven times, back out of about phone, tap developers options, turn on android debug and try again....

Thank you guys but I already have Dev. Options enabled. And I did attempt to flash superuser zip which was successful but upon reboot supersu's icon did not appeare and no root available. I am going to install a fresh full copy of metros 4.4.4 KitKat. Provided by hroark13 and masterchief87 last night and start completely from scratch I will keep you updated.

Hroark provided me a Stockrom 4.4.4 full with original modem and bootloader. Which originated in your stock ROM thread. The ROM failed to load....but Your original stock ROM 4.4.4 works fine and that's what I used. When I ran into the issue of trying to root the phone. ...I just installed cm12 rc2?!?!?Which again I run root checker and no root. I do not understand why I am able to install custom roms but i am not seeing the phone rooted?

What partition is ur boot on what partition is ur recovery on what model is ur phone what happens when u DL supersu from play store an it ask to update binaries
For me (tricky times) obtaining root on my (4.4.4metroPCS) after flashing CM12.1 ROM beta1
superSU would not update binaries it give me option to install through CWM or TWRP

but when Id select to boot into recovery it wouldn't boot into TWRP with temp root (on system partition) so being as i with ur problem myself just perma rooted with KingRoot v4.05

I got it to work. I was rooted the whole time just the Stockrom 4.4.4 gave me an issue with root so I flashed cm12 rc2 and enabled through developer options as masterchief advised. Thank you all for your help. Please close the thread

It could be? u did not download adb driver for draconis rom on ur PC before u ran the .bat file cause when I update from the bata 1 to horak13 (latest) I'm a get that going first an foremost

No your right I did not go to that extent but good to know for the future attemps
