not a problem brutha I have already gave them some crypt about it and they act as if it is no big thing.
I think we all need to take actions. such as telling them we are not paying till something changes and let them have the new guys. This really pisses me off that they gonna give new people the rewards and not us..

It shouldn't be a surprise phone companies do this all the time youre not locked into a contract with them so they honestly could give a shit if you've been a long term customer. If you want the deal then you have spend the money on a new phone and make a new account companies compete with each other everyday if you was under contract then youd have something to complain about but being prepaid phone companies can change their plans anytime they want

It's the respect part of it. If it would not have been for the loyalty of the long term customers they would not be where they are today.. I hear ya it is what it is. But it pisses me off... We are the one's that had stuck it out through thick and thin not the new people...
We have proven that we were going to be there but not now im not.. they can kiss off..

Absolutely! Its all about the principal. I've been with Boost for over 5 years and they just keep taking and taking. Have they done anything for their loyal customers? No. They say that shrinkage is a bonus but that's BS. Other carriers are offering $45 plans with more data. I even posted on their Facebook page about it and Boost replied. They wanted me to send them a private message to discuss things. I sent them a message and they replied but it's pretty much a fruitless effort. I'll probably go with a different carrier when I buy my next phone. I'll just have to wait and see what's going on when I reach that bridge. I don't even have LTE at my house. It's available approximately 2 miles up the road but the speed is horrible. Thank goodness I've got a cable modem.

They are forgetting who has been keeping their paychecks coming over the years. They are attempting to bring in more customers but that doesn't mean they can't offer us, the long term customers, the same thing. Not allowing us access to the new plan is Boost just being greedy. In order for us to get that much data we have to pay more. It's just not right.

Is that deal still going? I can't find it anywhere on their site.

Hi all. I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know I've ordered a Sprint LG G2. Boost now allows it on their network and Best Buy has them for sale online for $149 which is a great price. If anyone is interested, these phones are almost gone. Only the black is still available. If you want one you better get it now. They'll be gone soon.

My wife wants my S3 so I'll still be somewhat active here. I love my S3 but I'm excited about moving on to something new. If any of you get the G2, I'll see you in the other section.

Take care and thanks for all the help with this thread. If anyone wants to take this thread over and keep it updated please feel free to do so.

Cheers,

WB7

Glad to hear it Biker! I hope you like the G2 as much as I do. Takes some getting used to but worth $150 for sure.

On Lollipop 5.0.2 but scheduled for an OTA to 5.1.1 in the coming months.

I feel like it is the best upgrade from the S3 at the present time but that could change overnight.

I didn't think it would be that much faster than the S3 but it is. The antenna is better for me and LTE is much stronger around town including my house.

The battery is great but I do miss the replaceable style. It charges fast and I do recommend an external charger for emergencies.

32GB is plenty for me so far but I do miss the SD Card slot. I am using the cloud more including Google Play Music and Google Photos. You can use desktop utilities to upload your photos and music to the cloud. Ifyyou use Home Wi-Fi this shouldn't be muchoof a problem to access them later on your phone but it can impact your data plan.

I do love the G2 and I hope you do too.

Hey bro. I wouldn't have even known about this phone if it wasn't for you telling me about it and that Boost now allowed the Sprint version to be activated on their network. As for storage, most of my SD card is filled with music. I'll just start using the cloud or using my USB OTG. Once I sat down and thought about it, not having my 64 gb SD card will only be a minor inconvenience. And the battery, I'll be OK with that too. I have my 10,000mAh powerbank plus I have chargers in every vehicle we own. Well, except for my Harley. I may install a USB port on it LOL! :D

As for the price, it's like a soar pecker, you just can't beat it. LMAO! $150 for the G2 is awesome. I can't wait to see what that baby can do. The specs are great. Oh, I just checked and It'll be delivered tomorrow. When I ordered it at Best Buy yesterday, they said it would be here in 7 days. Guess it helps that the phone was only coming from approx 90 minutes down the road lol. I'll hit you up as soon as I get it. Speaking of which, I just sent you a text. Where ya @ bro?

Hello All,
Thanks to all the developers out there. I've been on this site science I rooted my Samasung Transform Ultra with boost. Happy with everything for years. You guys are the best. Back then I took out the data and wifi on my phone, and now I did it again with my new S3. I put Philz recovery on, and went for the Static Power Rom. It looked great, but the service would turn on and off over and over again. So I flashed a MK7 modem and the API fix to see if that worked. Now I got nothing. No service. I tried formating everything, and doing a restore, and that didnt work. It seems all these Roms want Sprint. So am I unlocking the phone with all this? Or we just want our boost phones to get turn up to the top tier of Sprint's network? What part I'm I missing? Really appreciate you guys. Sorry for the story. Thank for anyone who can help.

Nicholas

This all started after I flashed mk3 or mk 7 modem I don't know I can't remember. I've been up at this forever now. I've flashed all different kinds of Roms, ADP Fixes, different modems, Stock this stock that, and the wifi fix. I've flashed everything. Same thing happens no mobile network. When I try PRL or Profile, that all is says "no mobile network"
Just odin flash the correct stock .tar. You are flashing old outdated files.
If you have the " t" model you need oa3 or nf4.

Yes I have the Triband. I got it working again with the
ALL_SPT_L710TVPU0ANF4_L710TSPT0ANF4_1683363_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5.

Software version L710tvpu0anf4
Hardware L710t.03
Kernel 3.4.0-1683363 dpi@swdd59902 #2
build KOT49H.L710TVpu0anf4
SE for Android SEPF_SPH-710t_4.4.2_0016
Baseband L710tvpu0anf4

Would you be happy with these stats? This is stock correct? Where can I got to get on Lollipop, and the highest baseband? Really appreciate your help. You developers rock. I've donated in the past and will again. Keep up the good work.

Oh and one more probably more important question. This maybe belongs in its own tread. Sorry moderators.
Neither my phones storage, or the SD card has the typical file system on it. Like I don't have Android Secure anywhere, or the DCIM file for the pictures. I'm assuming because I bypassed a normal install for ODIN to fix my plunder earlier. How do I get them formatted? Sorry to be a bother and spam up the board, but there is only one place for help, and that's amidst you supper heros!

Everything looks good. If you want lollipop, you'll have to go here
It's octosL and its made specifically for the triband. It has a special built twrp also just for the triband. Team Octos is king when it comes to the triband S3. That thread will have everything you need.
