What build number for Nexus 7 (2012)?

Hi, sorry if this has been asked already I can't seem to locate what build number the Nexus 7 2012 would be. I'd look it up but my tablet is soft-bricked... (I hope) so I'm truing nexus toolkit to fix it. i've got the toolkit up and running right in the middle of it...

OK, I'll check when I get home if noone posts back.
thank you.

my tablet was working perfectly until this weekend. it crashed and would continuously end up in the optimizing apps loop. today i finally got rid of that but now it's just on the moving dots screen. i've already tried factory reset & recovery from the recovery screen (power + -volume) so i guess my only other option is the nexus toolkit.

unfortunately i do not have the drivers set up. i did on my old computer lol. i'll look at WUGs again later too (it's dinner time here now, gotta take a break - usually things look better after a break anyway heh ;) ). i tried WUGs earlier but couldn't get it to work (kept getting some message about it not being updated but i did run updates) so i'm back to trying the unified nexus toolkit (which i've used successfully in the past).

i'm not sure what to do next sorry! i used 4.4 and it worked to download it. (yes i tried to detect the version but kept getting an error about NRT updater not being able to update or something like that?).

what i've done so far

with my tablet plugged into the usb, turned at the bootloader screen

i downloaded
4.4 (KRT16S) Link b8d77fa080e2d71f4366a23df6d3ecaf da7dee497bc343fb8ed15995ccb0692123ee2eab

in Wugs i chose "soft-bricked/bootup" and clicked on "Flash-stock + unroot"
selected the file that i'd just downloaded above and entered the md5 checksum

but now i'm unsure how to proceed next? i'm not sure if it actually made any changes? never done this before so not sure what it's supposed to do....or should i start a different thread? i've never used Wugs before.

WOW! i think it actually DID work! at first i couldn't get any response other than entering the bootloader. but then i plugged it into the battery charger for a while. went and had dinner, came back ready to try getting into the bootloader again....and when i pushed the power button once, a pretty light blue factory reset sign-in screen asking for my login for wifi popped up! i just reconfigured everything, seems fine. i checked the build version in the "about" and it matches the one i just installed with a date of jan. 8 2015 for the build.

i did notice it felt a little warm on the back though...but i could be imagining things. plus we're having a heat wave, so it's warm here anyway (no A/C in the house lol). i'll keep an eye on it and report back any problems.

i will try that again. as the joy was short-lived. i don't know if i did something wrong or incomplete or what. but i used my tablet for a couple hours perfectly...was so happy to have it back again.... but when i went to shut it off when i went to bed, when i pressed the power button, the screen turned black but was still turned on instead of shutting off. so then i pressed power button one more time to restart it and wouldn't ya know it gets stuck on perpetual bootloop again....grrrrr

i hope not. it's already out of warranty of course, and had the motherboard replaced once already when it was under warranty. i will will let you know what happens after i try to restore it again later today. sadly if i have to purchase another tablet i'm not sure it will be a Nexus this time.

Ugh! That sucks. I wish I had some advice for you. That's starting to sound like a hardware problem.
ok. tried it again. this time i used Wugs.
i unlocked bootloader
did flash stock + reroot choosing the downloaded file
then did oem lock.
still same result, perpetual dots screen on startup.
i'm still not convinced it's a hardware problem since i can still get into the bootloader. and Asus replaced my motherboard about a year ago.
any other suggestions?

well using above tutorial i managed to wipe my tablet....but now i can't flash the images to the device (at least that's what i'm finally figuring is the problem?) ..... the computer recognizes the device but when i try to flash the images to the device i think it's the adb that's not recognizing it? (i'm just guessing....still trying to keep all these terms traight lol!) could it be something to do with debugging not turned on? i still think the tablet isn't completely dead as it's still got signs of life.... *ugh*
if i need to start a new thread to get some reply let me know.
