Thank you :)

First time you boot into the TWRP Recovery, it may take upwards of a minute to initialize.

To Install:
  1. Your phone needs to be rooted
  2. You need to enable USB debugging in Settings > Developer options
  3. Run aboot-install.bat (or aboot-install.sh on Linux/OS X)
  4. Run install.bat (or install.sh on Linux/OS X)

I'm not good at writing batch scripts, but the Windows one should work. The Linux/OS X installer is of a much better quality than the Windows version. Follow the readme file that's included.

To get into TWRP:

  • Run reboot-recovery.bat or reboot-recovery.sh (if you're on Linux/OS X)
  • Or, run `reboot recovery` as root on your device
Changelog:
7/9/2015 - Initial release

So did this version of TWRP fix where if you try to boot into recovery it just wipes data and reboots? Cause that was the problem with the other one.
Partially, if you `reboot recovery` it doesn't wipe your data, but if you hold the volume down, it still does.
In the meantime, you can just hold the home button down if you already have CM installed, and it will reboot recovery for you.

Yeah that's the same deal with xclusive's TWRP, but with that one the button combo to boot into recovery would boot, wipe, then reboot without letting you enter recovery to backup/restore/etc.

Hmm interesting proposal, that might be crazy enough to work. Anyway are you using this recovery? If so can you see if this recovery does that too. No big deal if you don't though.
No, it isn't a proposal, I've done it before many times and it sometimes wipes your data (if you're too late) or just reboots to wipe again (if you're too early). The window of time you get (with wiped data, but a proper reboot) is about 7 seconds. And yes, I actually used dd to pull this recovery off of my phone.

Ok, good to know. I'll try it out when I get the chance along with your CM 11 :D
