Root AICP 5.1.1 for ZTE ZMAX

Okay so everything is working fine except for the camera and once supersu grants the setting thing the camera connect connect anymore

That was just a modified /system/build.prop & /system/etc/permissions/platform.xml

As far as I know both of those fixes have been part of every lollipop ROM since cm12.1 rc3 I have been using aicp for days now and everything works for me including the camera and video recording. If your camera is not working then it is highly likely that you did something to mess up the camera.

Edit: My advice is to wipe system, cache, and data then delete /sdcard/android and flash the ROM with the recommended gapps and then don't mess around with any switchers or anything. Just leave the ROM the way it is and everything should work.

I tried it with no gapps or apps .... Can't connect.... Booted into Recovery did stuff ... Blah blah blah blah...

Well I kinda fixed it and no the camera works fine on stock and all the other ROMs except for this one I when supersu detects setting thing and I grant and say yes I messing up the camera and I deny the access and the camera works fine now

You have su off in settings and the camera works?

No its still on becuade my it still ask for access to my other programs so now the camera works fine

Settings requires root access for some of the tweaks in aicp to work properly. What he is saying is that when he grants root access to settings, his camera quits working.

Yea I have root access everything is working maybe I should do a clean install later on and after I put the ROM on abd the gapps I shouldn't use the supersu zip just reboot the system and see if it changes the camera thing

I did exactly like Masterchief87 posted & everything works! simple even my flashlight as well... love this Rom!

First, make sure you have the newest version of aicp and the correct gapps.
Then
Backup everything with titanium backup.
Next
Delete /sdcard/android from your internal storage
Then
Reboot to twrp and wipe system, cache, and data & flash the ROM & gapps.
Next
Reboot system, setup your Google account, and reinstall titanium backup.
Then
Restore everything that is white or yellow. Do not restore anything that is green or red.
Finally
Reboot one last time and you're done.

Edit: Also don't flash supersu as the latest version already has supersu included.

Well the newsest version aicp is on the first page right well what I did was dir advanced clean in twrp then installed gapps and rebooted my phone and everything is working as well as the camera

I haven't made any ROMs lol(unless you count stock ROMs and I didn't really "make" those. Just put em in a flashable zip). I just help out a bit here and there when I can but nothing major. All the lollipop ROMs for this phone were made by hroark13 and Ethanbanker2428.

So far the only thing I have yet to try is the deletion of the android folder...
I use super backup for all my calendar, call logs, contacts, and msgs...
I don't back up apps anymore because it can cause hair losing mysteries.....
I don't need hair losing mysteries!!!!!
So..... I'll try again....
I'm sad about Bliss pop thou.... It had a good vibe like candy... But, the whole screen becoming a picture frame for my wallpaper and nothing else kinda pooped all over the good vibe....

Anyway..

well i tried 3 x to install this evrytime somehing gave me an issue but the main one is data it recyles to h+ to 3g to h+ barely i get a lte signal . then one time it said (e) above the data signal . then when i go to apn n save it jumps into another apn . n deslects the one i choose

I put that zip together(hroark13 did help me with it). IT IS NOT NEEDED ANYMORE AND WON'T DO YOU ANY GOOD ON AICP. Both of those fixes have been part of every ROM since cm12.1 rc3. YOU DONT NEED IT AND IT WONT DO YOU ANY GOOD!
