Help My PC Can Not See My Phone

It's very strange. I used to be able to hook up my phone to my computer, and it would see it right off the bat so I could download photos. But since I had the phone Unlocked, and cleaned the IMEI, I can no longer have my computer see the phone...Any suggestions??

Maybe go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers for it. Also is USB Debuging enabled?

I have no idea where that is located. I looked but could not find it. Can you help???

Dose the USB Debuging need to be enabled???

Go to settings then about phone then tap build number a ton of times then it will say you're a developer then go back and a new thing that says Developer options should come out. Go into developer settings and select USB Debuging.

I agree, Usb debugging enabled is a likely culprit.

It's in your system settings under developer options. If you can't find developer options, go to "about phone" and tap on the build number seven or eight times (watch screen for instructions)

I enabled USB Debuging to get my Moto G second generation to show up on my PC

Hello
Would this same problem prevent a smartphone from being recognized by the company's software? I have a Samsung galaxy, no longer does the Samsung Kies software recognize it. I have no idea why, other than some setting must have changed. But what you talk about in this thread is over my head.

Yep, the developer options open. the only think i have checked in here is usb debugging. then i get an error message that reads "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Then it might be a driver issue. Maybe reboot you PC with your phone unplugged and after it reboots plug it in again. It might be Windows acting up.

The first link worked well. It just tells me that the MTP, CDC, And ADB are not plumed in. I have no idea what that is.....
