Root [Kernel][GB] H426 - BDTweaks now on Google Play (06/24/13)

Does it make sense that the oc kernel would cause this?

Also, I'm having trouble with bloodawns links... The kernels, Hktoolbox... All coming back with file not found errors, both through the forum links and on my device using goo manager.

Is the server having trouble?

Some phones don't play well with overclocking. Try bloods stock kernel. As for the links, I'm not sure. Someone around here probably has a copy they can hook you up with.

Edit: links are working for the hyper main kernel. Just checked on my phone

Interesting. The links are working now, but I was definitely having a hard time earlier.

I know some phones don't like overclocking as much as others, but I used to run the hyperkernel 1200Mhz version when it came out without any problems. When I switched to CTMod, it took a while before I noticed I couldn't overclock anymore, that's when I realized it came with the non-overclocked kernel, so I decided to switch to the the OC version. That's when I started having problems- random force closes, apps that used to work (such as Tether) are throwing errors, just general system instability.

I wonder what I'm doing wrong!

A quick update:
I flashed the non-OC kernel back on, and finally installed HKtools 2.1 (I think I was on 1.x before).

I tried to set everything in HKtools to as much stock as possible, however I'm not sure what everything was defaulted to. Does anyone here know? I want to try changing everything one-at-a-time from stock to see what the culprit here was. I don't think overclocking is what caused my specific problems.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to say that tethering appears to be working at, so at least there's that. :)
