So Im on boost. lost my LTE like many of you.. I booted up the candy rom and enabled root n debug then in recovery installed gapps rebooted signed into my account. Downloaded change apn then flashed the universal r1 or whatever APN fix(the original one). Then headed to my settings- mobile networks-preferred network type- and switched it from LTE to 1x. About 2 seconds later switched back to LTE and its back like arnold schwarzenegger I can go to bed now.

Thanks for the input, but I doubt this will actually help much.

From the other thread - it seems people have a similar consensus - the fix is seemingly different for everyone.

Personally, I lost my LTE by flashing CM12. I fixed it by flashing stock, updating PRL/profile, and flashing CM11. Now, CM12 works. (well, I need an apn toggle often..)

the point is, it's a very weird, seemingly random issue. Keep flashing this and that, toggling APNs back-and forth, and hopefully your radio will come back. Keep at it.

and @billfry - let us know if your LTE is fully-solid, and is active after leaving wifi coverage. my, and many others' phones need an apn toggle to re-enable LTE. I suspect it's not...

I finally got my lte back by backing everything up and doing a full ##786# reset. Unfortunately it wasn't very stable. Dropped/reset connection often (including 1x voice) and somehow cost me my 3g, which I haven't heard of happening to anyone else.

Absolutely no idea what is going on with that phone now. I'm on Sprint so I chose the only foolproof fix and dropped another $59 to replace it. When I have more time maybe I'll try to do a full comparison of the settings, efs, nv, etc and see if I can figure something out.

I have sprint as well and the rules never seem to be the same for us as boost or virgin mobile fixes. All I do know is that Candy ROM is the only one that will give me reliable LTE. CM12.x can't seem to deal with any sort of network transition. The stock kitkat that came with the phone use to be flawless, accept for the poor memory management. Now, even that will not show the LTE/Spark. Like you mentioned, for $59, it's a cheap fix.
