After wrong custom flashing which included the operation 'fastboot erase all' I got my Moto G XT1033 with IMEI=0. Eventually no carrier detected
A little too late now, but I was once told never do "fastboot erase all". If you're familiar with the old MS DOS, that'd be similar to "format c:".
Now onto your question though, head over to XDA forums and check the Moto G section out. There might be a post there about restoring the imei.

Try downloading an xml.zip version of the stock rom for your specific model. After you do, extract it, and run the auto install batch file. I did this to my XT1031 a while back and hopefully this should help you.
