Coming from iPhone 5s. Go to Galaxy S5 or S6?

Hello all,
It's been 2 years since I've posted on the boards here. Was an Android guy for many many years. Started with the Droid Eris, and moved to the Droid Incredible. I loved the DI and had it for 4 years till it literally died. Being somewhat enamored with the Apple phenomenon I decided to give the iPhone a try. I've had the 5s for 2 years now and ready to move back to Android. iPhone has some nice stuff, but I feel the overall usability of Android is way better.

My wife has the Samsung Galaxy S5 and loves it. My best friend has it too and loves his. I know the S6 is out, but I'm wondering if the 5 is the one to get. I can't believe the S6 went away from the separate battery and SD card concept. I had a second battery for business travel when I had my Incredible. Used it a lot. Not sure how necessary that is with 6. Here's the other thing... I hate phone cases. I never used a cell phone case until I had my iPhone. And the only reason I got one for the iPhone was because it looked so fragile. And so many people have cracked glass on their iPhones. I think the Galaxy S5 is a beautiful devise that doesn't require a case... where the S6 looks more fragile, like the iPhone. Am I wrong?

In the end, I'm leaning towards the S5. But I wanted to post here as I'm sure there are S6 users that have come from the 5 and can speak to which one they feel is better... and more importantly, why?

Thanks in advance.

I never used the S5, but did do some in-depth comparison shopping when deciding on my next phone.
The S6 has a significant advantage as far as fingerprint scanner, camera, and build quality feel goes. It is more fragile, but there are some pretty sweet minimalist cases for those of us that don't love cases.
If those are important to you (any of them) I suggest the S6. If you're on AT&T, I highly recommend the S6 Active if you want durable. I wish Verizon carried it. This version of the Active is the first one to use the same screen (I think) and more importantly, camera as the regular version. The only thing it doesn't have is the fingerprint sensor (and maybe wireless charging).
I LOVE my S6 and wouldn't dream of trading it in for another right now. But, as they say, different strokes for different folks! ;)
