Help have you seen dual screen android phones

I'm assuming these phones run on ROMs provided by the OEMs as normal Android wouldn't accommodate two screens?
"Normal Android" as you call it only runs on Nexus devices until you accommodate the need for a different kernel and often other apps because of all of the other hardware differences.

Unless you have a Nexus, your rom came from your ODM.

If you're not sure about that, notice that you can't load the Android Marshmallow preview right now unless you have a supported Nexus, and also that you've never received an OS update from Google unless you have one of their devices.

So the answer to your question is yes, definitely.

Another day, another thing learnt about Android OS. Thanks. [emoji1]

I actually think it's kind of a great idea. If the Yotaphone was readily available over here, I'd snap it up in a second. :)

I've no desire to carry a book reader and a phone around with me and my battery would last for days if I browsed/read stuff on the 2nd screen.
I prefer reading on a larger screen.
But we are all entitled to our own opinions. [emoji5]

I believe they have a physical store in London.... and you can order from their website... I had a play with one that ended up in a branch of Cex... but i'd just bought my oneplus and so it didn't go any further than that.

While in pure performance metrics, Oukitel u6 will not be able to keep up with Yota, but it does not mean that i have to shell out more than $655 on Yota's flagship offering after one year's later. After all, Yota will be shipped until the next year and i even don't know whether it will be shipped.
So, spending $239 and sacrificing a wee bit of performance will result in a very smart purchase on my side.

No, I'm actually English, I only live in China. And FYI you've actually listed most of the brands I would trust. I have an Oppo, a Lenovo and a couple of Samsungs.

EDIT:

So who exactly is Oukitel? The website is registered to a "Shenzhen o digital electronics co LTD" who?.....which is apparently only contactable via a free QQ or Hotmail email or anonymous web-form....OK.

there must be some misunderstanding about your information.
all can contact oukitel via Skype, Email and Facebook message.
oukitel is the brand for phones. and Yunji is oukitel's factory name. Yunji produces for many years as the OEM factory for overseas brands like Spice, Karbonn, BQ, Wolder and Doogee, etc.

OK great, enjoy your Oukitel. It sounds like just what you want.

The Yota isn't a midrange device, and I'd much rather have had the chance to own that one. That would be a much smarter purchase for me. :)

There's no misunderstanding about your relationship with Andrew16 or how well we suddenly have China defending this phone ok.

Anyone interested in the Oukitel can visit their website at the cc domain, shop from there, and find a store selling it for US$239.99.

There - equal time for both phones, done.

Let's let this be the end of the Oukitel sales spam. :)

Some of the vendors that Oukitel lists are banned by Android Forums. e.g. www.********.com ..censored by the forum software. Which I think says something about reputation, e.g. spamming, lousy customer service, fraud, etc.

I need something a little bit less anonymous and more convincing, like what's their business registration and public company filings, can I buy them from the local China Mobile store, can I go knock on their door and see for myself....yes really. I've already visited Meizu, and have been invited to see Oppo next time I'm in Shenzhen. I am in China.
