Sorry to say this but its been getting difficult, I'm grateful I had the Tmobile APN method for wireless tethering but... Now...?? Anyone willing to trade new zte zmax with rooted one?

NO ONE IS WORKING on it they achieved root already . the main devs was hoark, ethan m jcase and they all left . so yea no one is working on achieving root .
especially on an update that people should already kno if you update there is 99.9 percent u loose root .
Hi! I'm just stopping in to call b.s.

I'm wading through various Chinese and Korean forums digging for new root methods at all times. There are people actively trying to root old zmax phones that were already updated previously. Hopefully something comes up in the future but for now its not getting anywhere. Two people have claimed to get temp root but no proof.

I believe I have successfully blocked update attempts by placing a file called Update.zip in my phones cache folder.. I kept having my phone- google play notify me that a system enhancement was available.. and every time I deleted it, it would re download.. turning off notifications in google play services stopped the notifications for the update but creating the fake Update.zip stopped it from downloading completely
