Yup, with only several patches from caf so it can be built from aosp :) it's 99,99% aosp
Oh well that should be interesting huh I've never even experienced pure aosp myself ..I saw a slimremix setup and that looked awesome for features I wonder if someone will cook that one loljk anyway I'm looking for the latest nameless change log before I burn another 200mb over my limit which I find utterly impossible to stay under ..next step is WiFi at home , Verizon has been killing my ass for years now with overage fees

Hey @zlaja84, I just wanted to update you on something I found, I am not sure if this was mentioned before but I have seen a lot of people facing this problem in this ROM and other ROMs so here it is: I have noticed that after reboot if you immediately start using your phone the shortcuts icons will disappear (for apps from SD). But if you leave your phone for a few minutes to properly start up. The icons will still be there. (So I think its just some background activity/task that needs time to start up and rearrange it self to the system) In short start your phone few minutes before use, if you want the icons to not disappear.

Excellent observation! I must add that similar thing happens even on stock rom. Only difference is that instead of missing icons, there are placeholder icons which sit there until system is fully loaded.
Thank you for sharing.

Just wanted to update everyone that Xposed is now official for Android 5.1(sdk22). Although I will not be using it and also advice to anyone who wants better battery life on their LG L70 to not use it as well, as from experience I can tell that Xposed Framework does drain battery and so does Link2SD (System was a bit laggy also). That's why since the 22-08-15 nightly, I have started fresh without both Xposed and Link2SD. And the battery life is totally awesome now and so is the system performance.

I used to install ROM's all the time on older phones and I can't seem to get it right with this one. I successfully installed PAC-ROM last night but the gapps install didn't work correctly so then I tried this ROM. I downloaded from the Nameless website and it's giving me an error but doesn't really give much info. It just says "E: Error executing updater binary in zip /emmc/update.zip"

Ok yea I get that sometimes too and I think it's just a bad or corrupted file somehow getting burned during the download...which pacrom did you use (Kk or L) I can upload the gapps im using right now to drive for you and you'll know at least it's definitely a good file

It was LP 5.1 PAC-ROM
Edit: Just finished downloading the newest nightly build and get the exact same error.

"Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset.
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/nameless-blahblahblah

Any idea?

EDIT #2

Using the latest TWRP when I try to do the wipe it gives me this error

E: Unable to wipe /data -- unknown file system 'auto'
E: Unable to format to remove encryption

Ok so lemme make sure I am on the right page... So you're getting that binary error, flashing nameless right? And you can't get gapps to install on pacman 5.1 right? Have you had full success on any roms if so which ones, and which L70 is yours, is it the ms323 etc.? Sorry about the questions lol just wanna get it strait

AOSP 5.1 booted fine but gapps didn't install. It may have been too large of a file I will download the minimal version. I have the ms323. I've tried with the last two nightly builds with this rom and it boots fine and it asks for a password on first boot. I entered 1234 which it says is correct but after I submit the password I get a screen saying it was correct but that I had corrupted data and I need to do a factory reset. I do the factory reset and it just does the same thing over and over again. It doesn't seem right that two completely different downloads would both be corrupted.

Oh wow, yea I can say I haven't encountered anything like a password being asked for anywhere, thats nee to me bro.. Im just trying to see if ive seen that combination of issues anywhere and if im reading correctly it seems like there could be an issue with your twrp but you flashed roms jus fine...i think zlaja84 might know which direction to point you in or who to point you to, but ill keep looking around also and see if anything pops up that can help. Wish I had a quick solution but there's always something to learn in a problem so I try lol

I downloaded Ressurection Remix....so far so good *knocks on wood* sitting on the upgrade screen where apps are "optimized" GApps also finally installed correctly
Awesome bro, that's about my favorite so far cuz it's stable, has a lot of features, but still plays fairly well with xposed compared to like nameless which is almost impossible to use xposed productively.. I hope he will port SlimRemix one day lol but good luck man if you need anything holla, these guys here are smart here too

I would highly suggest you to revert to stock with flash tool, and then redo all the processes: rooting, installing twrp (latest! there's a thread here for that), installing rom, etc. who knows what went bad with your device. Better to start of with a clean slate.
