First off, thanks for your work, SuperR, it's greatly appreciated. I just screwed up my phone a few days ago trying to deal with the update not having room to install and making--mistakes--with TB (integrate into rom doesn't seem to work very well). I've reflashed it but I'm still having some issues with Maps and Chrome which I need.
So I'm going to have to do it again anyway. From what I understand, you need the Nandroid (TWRP) backups from a stock ZV6 Tribute. I want the StageFright fix, and I'm interested in a trimmed rom as well.
So if I flash the stock ZV5 rom, replace TWRP with the stock ZV5 recovery, and allow everything to update and the OTA to go through, that will leave me with a stock ZV6 phone, correct? Then if I root it again and flash TWRP and backup I can give you the files you need, correct?
To do this however I think I need to connect my Google account, and I don't want to send any of that stuff out. Can I just adb install the update, then SuperSU and Flashify to put TWRP on without updating anything via the Play store?
e: Or is the update package that was linked by HasH_BrowN sufficient anyway? I copied it from my phone last night and it's identical.
