Cover Display

Good morning,

i have a problem with my LG G watch R. If I cover my screen with my hand, nothing happens. Usually the screen should go into dim mode, but since yesterday the watch doesn't react.

Anyone an idea?
I would be very happy if someone could help me.

I don't have the G watch R so can't give specific help, but have you tried rebooting the watch? That cures many ills in these high tech devices.

just to clarify, you have to lay your hand flat on the display (touching it over a large area, not just cover up the display to block out the light). The fleshy or convex part of the hand seems to work best to make contact with a larger area of the screen.

I'm reasonably sure you already knew that, but I mention it because:
1-from watching that gesture on video, I myself used too think they were just blocking off the light
2-your terminology "cover"could be consistent with that misconception that I used to have.
