Hi everybody, I have my zmax and no band 12 yet. Does miami/miami gardens have band 12 active?. Also can I know what metro phones have band 12?. I think even the Microsoft lumia 640 has band 12 am I right? . Needing band 12 for building penetration, and VOlte as well. Any ideas?. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
Anthony.

Just curious, will MetroPCS customers be able to take advantage of the 700 mhz block A spectrum? I understand the companies relationship with each other, but I haven't read one thing about MetroPCS being able to use band 12. Anyone have anything clarifying this?

My GFs Stylo uses Band 12 - Metropcs, checked with LTE Discovery.

Metro is Tmobile towers. You can add the Tmobile APN on Metro phones, it connects just the same.

Yes I understand the relationship with the companies. While I've seen T-Mobile boasting about the new addition, I have yet to see MetroPCS speak of it.

I'm just curious, but do you have a screenshot? I'm considering going back to MetroPCS, but I want to make sure I'm going to get T-Mobile's band 12. Looking at my area here in Florida, channel 51's block is gone, and I'm in a great area.

I need building penetration, which is why I'm with Cricket Wireless. 700 mhz is king, and that's the only way I'll switch back.

Waiting on the next Nexus to make my choice on which band 12 enabled phone I get next. Could be the Moto X Pure pending a band 12 update.

Edit: Looks like Moto added band 12 under the supported LTE bands.

Still going to hold out for the next Nexus to make my choice.

Since the Zmax Band 12 status hasnt changed on the Spectrum page Last updated 9/17/2015 ,
I would say the hardware supports Band 12, but like some Moto's, it isnt enabled.

A phone that doesnt supports VoLTE, they (Tmobile) wont enable. Cause you wouldnt be able to make reliable 911 calls as per the FCC in some areas with *only* LTE signal.

I am located in St Lucie County, FL and I have a ZTE Zmax on Metro PCS and I get band 12. But as of now it's not consistent. With LTE Discovery it will show band 12 for awhile then switch back to band 4. But I only been getting band 12 on my Zmax the last couple of weeks. Here's a screen shot showing band 12.
