Help Lost 5GHz Support

I ordered a new (cheap) AC router and a new LG Volt. When the LG Volt arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see the 5GHz band working. I tested several things, such as beam-forming, channel widths, etc. then set the router to the side for about a month. Now that I have setup the router again, it seems I can no longer access the 5GHz range. The phone no longer even reads the SSID for the 5GHz broadcast. The only thing I can think of is the phone originally shipped with ZV4 and I have since upgraded to ZV5 and ZV6. Unfortunately, I only have backups for ZV5 and ZV6, so I have no way to revert back to ZV4. Does anyone have a backup for the original stock ZV4 firmware (Sprint prepaid)? Would I need to revert to the ZV4 radio (assuming the radio firmware also handles wifi)?

I don't think the volt actually supports the 5ghz band. The specs I've read state it only support b/g/n 2.4ghz band. Also I've never been able to see 5ghz on my volt. I recently rolled back to zv3 and upgraded thru to zv6 using wifi and never saw the 5g band.

The best way to revert back to zv4 would be to use the unbrick guide to go back to zv3 and then upgrade to zv4, however I don't think it'll help much. Really can't explain why it saw your 5g band before.

Hey guys! Please contribute to the cause. I have a thread here that i haven't updated in a bit but i've seen settings for wireless n. I have found other config files for wifi that i need to add. Of course alot of them are in smali/ Japanese or korean thanks lg.
Also from my testing unless you're file transfering or streaming off your network i dont recommend wireless n. The security is excessive overhead. Unless your isp is giving you over 56mbs on speedtest. Wireless g is going to support up to 56mbs and have better compadibility with other networks. Once again for the average user with this cpu I'd stay with wireless g, and only g. shut down scanning of other useless bands.
