Fast Charging issue/question

Anyone else with a Note 5 have an "issue" that when the phone is plugged in - sometimes it just says regular charging? Sometimes I have to unplug/plug back in to get it to switch to fast charging.

Wondered if it was a known issue, something with my charger (or phone) specifically.

Yeah its in the drop down notifications and it sometimes says charging and then switches to fast charging... sometimes it doesn't switch until I unplug it and plug it back in! And I don't charge twill its about 10%
My guess is it all depends on how full the battery is charged initially &/or overall phone temperature, with the charging rate slowing down as the phone heats up to a certain point &/or for a specific amount of time.
Again,just a guess...................

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. I charge around the same %. And I literally unplug/plug back in and it will go from 4 hours (normal charge) to saying fast chart (an hour or so). It's like sometimes it registers that the charger is a fast charger and other times it doesn't.

It's about 70/30 or 80/20 in favor of being accurate. The other 20-30% of the time I have to do the unplug/plug back in.

Lately I have been experiencing the same thing with my phone.I am having mine replaced for a different issue so my phone not fast charging the way its suppose to may be du to me receiving a faulty phone from AT&T.I did unplug and plug it back in until it said fast charging and the amount of time till full charge had a dramatic differenece in time almost 50 minutes.I don't know if these issues are hardware or software related but this phone has quite a list of issues at the current moment.

Can you report back? How long have you had your Note 5? What other issue were you having?
