Root Overclock

Not a big difference I assume.
Bigger than you think. There's a kernel for stock floating around with 1.4 GHz that's stable enough to try out and it does feel it in everyday kind of use. You won't notice too much on intense apps though.
I hope to see something like 1.8 at some point. Zte Awe at that speed (similar processer but dual core, same stock clocks) was sickeningly quick at that speed! Blew my Leon out of the water if you could believe that

Same with LG Optimus F3 overclocked to 1.8 GHz. I feel the F3 can run smoother on Dead Trigger 2 than the Leon. Where is that kernel that is overclocked ?

I think there's either a thread or it's floating round the devs development page. I used it for a while but CM just got so much better it's not really worth playing with. It IS an improvement over stock kernel, but it really just puts stock where CM is in terms of responsiveness. I'd just wait to see what @Noobified comes up with next honestly

Interesting...i thought the SnapDragon 410 inside the leon was locked to 1.2Ghz as a max, But it can be Overclocked to 1.4 ghz with a custom kernel. That device is goig far beyond my expectations.:p
It is locked at 1.2, but that's because LG decided to underclock it. The max is 1.4, as seen in the Moto G 2015. But if it can be unlocked with the custom kernel we have, it can certainly be overclocked

I've been digging but haven't found it.
