I'm not sure of that phone. Never heard of it so I can't help you there. RC means release candidate. Like it's good enough to let the public use but is still being being worked on. However RC5 of CM12.1 for this phone was the last version released by the Dev.
Probably not. We have stable roms for the Zmax I don't know about your phone.
The way making roms is there is official and unofficial. Official would be made by the group themselves. Such as CyanogenMod or BrokenOS. Unofficial is when someone makes it themself without that group. Such as me making a build of CyanogenMod. It would be unofficial. And it's made by compiling over 30 gigabytes of code using Linux. The source code that is. So whoever post unofficial ROMs, usually made it themself.
No unofficial builds can be stable. Mostly your phone will never be official from any dev team as the focus on top devices.
If the rom you download from the Cyanogenmod website isn't made specifically for your phone then if you flash it it'll probably bootloop.
Again. Please keep it on topic. This is for discussion regarding the development of Marshmallow for the ZMAX. Although I do completely agree with you and my next phone will be an iPhone due to the poor optimizations of Android. However, the screen on my ZMAX is slowly dying (Dead pixels) and the next Android I get in mean time, will be a phone with a large development base and does not have lousy limitations implemented by the Manufacturer.

You just get a zmax but make sure it hasn't been updated so u can root.
