So i was using cm12 beta for a while flashing all the updates and what not. Then my phone started lagging for no reason like everything i do it lags, so i wiped everything then flashed again and it still lagged like all the google apps started force closing and stuff. So i went back to the stock rom, but the one i went to was zv6 rooted and its still lagging and google apps are force closing every 10 minutes. Can anybody help??

When you say wipe you wiping everything? The fc's on google apps for cm means youre using thr wrong gapps package make sure you use thr latest release of gapps. They update gapps often. But flashing back to stock shouldnt cause fc's. Id do a complete wipe of everything except the external sd, obviously make sure the rom youre flashing is on the external sd, but yea. Id do a complete wipe of everything then try reinstalling.

As well as the advice @timmyh318 gave you, make sure all ROM components are compatible and set right. Meaning are you using the correct kernel and are the settings for all kernel features correct.
I have in the past over did the (UNO) kernel settings, causing lags and freezes. Only solution was to reboot and correct those settings, or reflash kernel.
Gapps issues can sometimes be resolved by wiping cache and dalvik in TWRP, also possibly try dirty flashing it over itself. If still gapp issue persists, download another 4.4.2 package (find nano or pico -very minimal)

Also as far as lag and ive seen a few people say they get some lag, remember the hardware youre dealing with also. No matter what rom you install you are still dealing with a snapdragon 400soc coupled with only a gig of ram. Its not ever going to run completely lag or stutter free. Yes you can make it run pretty smooth but it will never be hard to bog it down some. Especially when its doing more than a task or 2 at a time. That part really will never change.

So i wiped everything again except my sd card. Flashed the cm12 rom and its still like freezing. I think it may be a hardware problem idk
When you say its lagging and freezing when is it doing it? Ive used the blisspop rom which is built on the same platform and yes when downloading apps and multitasking yes it will stutter slow down maybe even freeze a little. Yes this has to do with the hardware limitations of the phone. But when just on a home screen or handling a task or 2 at a time it ran fine. Also it depends what you are running as fsr as apps to. Apps like facebook and facebook messenger are huge ram hogs even if they are not open. They eat a ton of ram just running in the background. Thats why ill always use an app like greenify to kill them off so they are not constantly running in the background if i really dont want them to. Chrome is another major ram hog.
