Galaxy A5 Echo sound

28-01-2018 I'm from Brisbane Australia and have just purchased a brand new Galaxy A5 2017 in a factory sealed box off of Ebay Aust. from a seller that said the item location was Perth Aust. but it was sent from Hong Kong and the phone was intended for the Arabian market. Everyone who calls me says they can hear a BAD echo of their voice as they speak, but everything sounds normal on my end. I have even had multiple(3) people call me back from a fixed(landline) and they all complain of the same problem to the point they they can't continue the conversation the echo back to them is so bad. If I put my phone on speaker(hands free)they say it is a little better but still there. It would seem the sound is looping through my phone speaker and microphone and back to them. The phone I have just replaced was a Galaxy S2 which had no problem in this area. Has anyone got a fix for this? Is it merely a settings issue and what do I change or is it a network compatibility problem because it was intended to be used on another countries phone system? In doing some searching it seems other users have experienced similar problems.

I looked on some forums and some users blame the phone case for the echo. I took the case off and the echo didn't go away. Other users have tried sending their phone in for repairs and/or complete a factory reset with no luck. Is there anything else I can try?
