Its booting to the Lg screen where you set your account up but after the lg service waiver it goes right back to the original set up screen. I rebooted and still the same thing. Im not a noob and i followed the directions??

Any clues??

Not sure, most have got the rom installed and working. Maybe try the suggestion in post #16.

Or you can try to go into "twrp > mount > system" then "advanced > file manager > system > priv-app" and delete "LGCalculator, LGEmail, LGExchange, LGQuickMemo". Those apps are part of the LG EULA and by deleting them it might let you past the EULA setup screen. If you want those apps back go to "Settings > About phone > Update Center > App Updates".

That's pretty much all I can suggest.

That's pretty much all I can suggest.

Actually all that need to be deleted is LGupdatecenter and LGapplicationmanager (these 2 brings up the EULA screen)..the rest can leave for use without a problem.

Wipe cache and dalvik only after deletion

EDIT : Ok got it working with Tmo Variant ( yeyy ) just for those who want to try Katana make sure to flash T-mobile-Bootstack after flashing the Katana Rom if not will be getting some system Messages and your TWRP will not read your previews/current Backups and be a little messy don't know why that happen (i was worry about that 'till realize about you include the Metro Bootstack with the Katana )

Draken, can you post up step by step on how you did it for T-Mobile variant. I can't seem to figure it out. Followed your quick steps but not working.

I came from turbos debloat rom..
I twrp wiped the data etc. Flashed katana (thanks gametheory, I like how you changed those colors to "katana blue") then I flashed the bootstack I found on Android file host" then everything worked great.

I'm on T-Mobile btw

I deleted the apps and wiped but still having the same issue with it going from the lg agreement screen back to account setup???

So just an update on what I've been up to...

I cpu overclocked(oc) to 1.5ghz and underclocked(uc) to 100mhz and also undervolted(uv) to save battery. I also did a gpu oc to 450mhz. Screenshots below.

Now the cpu uc/uv and gpu oc are working fine. However the cpu oc does not improve anything, not even benchmarks and I've tried everything with the source code. So there will not be any cpu oc and that's the end of that lol.

As for the rom, I will be debloating it a lot more and tuning it more as well as tuning the kernel more too.

To those having trouble with it going back to the LG startup screen after registering u need to wipe, reflash the ROM and then do the process again but when it asks if u want to install the LG apps make sure all those aren't being installed and then it should work

I'm assuming you're browsing it in your phone...this works for me:
Settings/request desktop mode...not always though...you may need to refresh page once or twice more...I highlight url and click send on the keyboard.
Also...chrome handles some sites a bit better than other browsers.

I just gotta say GT, this isn't just a great new ROM(and you've added so much to it)...but even more, a great SERVICE-

Between this and the instructions, it's now totally illogical to remain on stock!
Before this there were so many ways to Bork... just looking for everything needed was so kludgy.

You've got my vote for AF MVP of 2015!

Hello. Great ROM. I haven't posted yet but I really appreciate all of your work. You've saved my but a few times already with this phone and my last phone (optimus f6). I also tried turbo's ROM on xda, but now I'm back to running Katana. I have a question though. I noticed that the stock email and quickmemo widgets don't work on any other launchers but the stock LG Launcher. I really like those widgets. Do you know of anyway to get the stock launcher back on my phone?

Yes the stock launcher can be flashed back on. I'll need some time though because I'm working to post the new rom update today if all goes according to plan.

ROM updated rev_11-16-2015

The rom is blazing fast now.

ROM Changes:

Many performance improvements
Barebones debloated (Get Gapps from play store & LG bloat apps from my deodexed bloat zips)

Kernel Changes:

GPU overclocked to 450 mhz (for improved gaming performance)
CPU undervolt on lower frequencies (for saving battery when idle or screen off)
Added HyperX governor and set to default (very fast)
Added Conservative governor (for battery saving)
Added SIO and FIOPS schedulers
Lowered transition latency for Ondemand governor from 10mil to 9mil (for smoothness)
Running kernel mode NEON
-O2 optimized (might go -O3 on next update)
New logger interface "/sys/kernel/logger_mode" (0 = disable & 1 = enabled) 0 is default. Ask on forum how to use.
cflags optimizations (-mtune=cortex-a53 -mfpu=neon-vfpv4 -fgraphite -mfloat-abi=hard) and many more.

Make sure to follow the new install instructions. This is a major revision so make sure to clean wipe and flash.

LG deodexed bloat apps can be found in the "Optional Flashable Extras" section of the download page. You'll also find Cyanogen AudioFX and Dolby Atmos equalizers there.

Change log in post #2 will be updated shortly.

I know. My flashable LG mail includes Exchange as well. I was gonna use my old aroma, but put the bloat seperate instead for those that only need one or two apps so that they don't have to download a large package.
