Note 4 has better saturation than the Nikon P600 Superzoom

I was comparing shots of my living room shot without flash with the Note 4 & Nikon P600 superzoom and found that the color saturation & detail was clearly better with the Note 4. I was surprised. That Nikon was the best superzoom on the market in 2014 when the Note 4 came out. The Nikon definitely has a much longer zoom reach at 60x though. I'll be using my Note 4 more for standard shots as it does quite well on most of those.

I have a Note 4 so I should be biased towards it, but I gotta say, the Nikon shot looks more natural to me. Only you know how well the colors match reality, though.
Really??? Are you looking at the correct pictures? The second picture clearly shows more details and colors. You can't even see the items in the HDTV Cabinet in the first picture. Plus first picture is more "dull" than second picture. Maybe your monitor is off?

But you can clearly read the title of the book better in the Canon shot ;)

Let me first say that I am no graphic designer. /disclaimer

But isn't the white balance better (more natural) in the Canon shot? This is probably what makes the Note shot warmer. Also, look at the computer screens. The rendering of the mountains seems much better, to me, in the Canon shot.

However, looking at the photos again, I can safely say that I will not argue with a man that has two knives on his living room table. Therefore, yes, the note shot is much better :)

Regards,
Eric.

The note 4 shot is definitely more pleasing to look at because of how the colors pop, but I think the Nikon shot is probably closer to what the scene looks like in person. What color are the walls actually? To me they look white (off white maybe) in the first and brown/beige in the second. Accuracy aside, I still like the note shot better though.
