surnia_boost_51-2-official_removed_NOT_FLASHABLE.zip

NOTE1: Your device needs to have already been updated to 51 official before using this ROM. If you have not updated to 51 official (LPI23.29-18-S.8), you should ( zips located here ). Once updated, flash this partition updater AND the rom of choice.

NOTE2: The unmodified ROM is not rooted. To root, flash SuperSU after the ROM

NOTE3: Your device must have a custom recovery such as TWRP to flash ROMs.

NOTE4: These zips are unsigned so you may need to disable signature verification in TWRP before flashing.

Flash in TWRP as follows:

Download ROM
Put the ROM.zip on your sdcard if not already
Reboot to TWRP Recovery
MAKE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!
Wipe data/Factoy reset
Install partition updater from sdcard (see NOTE1 above)
Install ROM from sdcard
Reboot
Enjoy!

This should be okay to use on Sprint PP(1526) as well, with Ring+
bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed and correct LPI23.29-18-S.2

When flashed, my phone will look more like a boost one, on boot-up and such
unmodified has all the boost apps??? Debloated am guessing does not

It will probably work on the Sprint xt1526, but I can't make any guarantees. The unmodified rom has Boost apps, and the deodexed has most if not all of the Boost apps removed.

I have the xt1526 sprint. It doesn't cause me any issues flashing the updated partitions or any of the 5.1 ROMs. (Make sure you flash the latest ROM by super r before you do this).

Same here! All the other custom roms I have tried do not support LTE. This one does and works great on Ring+ after PRL and profile update.

I am having a tough time enabling the native hotspot on XT1526. I tried the hotspot fix, but no go. Although I could enable the hotspot and my devices can connect to it, they have no internet connectivity while Moto E itself can surf the web with no problems.

I wonder if the hotspot fix is tailor made for Boost only? Anyone here got the hotspot to work?

Hotspot works for me after flashing the fix, but I am on Boost.

May be a really dumb question but if I am flashing over the 51-2rom do I still need to clean install or is it safe to just clear dalvik and cache don't want to have to re install everything over again. BTW I have tried all custome roms for this phone and stock is much better so thanks for this and great work.

Hey SuperR how have you been, long time no hear. I'm in a bit of a jam and I would like to know if you could help me out. I'm trying to capture a OTA from one of my devices but I can't get it because I don't have root, and my logcat is not showing the URL to download it. I was wondering if you could add root to my boot.img so I can gain root and pull the OTA.zip from data. I'm only asking because my devices are running marshmallow and I need a modified boot.img along with flashing SuperSU.

I am not sure what you mean. I already created a Hotspot fix for the official 5.1 ROM. It is posted in the OP.

I flashed this Rom. Was running same version as member above. It still sends a notification for the latest stagefright update and says do I want it. I just say no. Why is that if the stagefright patches are already in the ROM?
