Help Android 5.0.1 USB to LAPTOP transfer files

Hello,

I have problem with transmision od data from my Yoga 2 1050L tablet to Tohiba Satellite Laptop(AMD A4-5000) Windows 7 64bit. This is my first tablet with android update 5.0.1 lollipop.
After connecting USB cable to my laptop Windows can not see absolutly nothing.
I trier to set USB debbuging and have set transfer by MTP method and Windows does not see my USB connection.

Please help.

I have a suggestion for you, and hopefully your Yoga will support connecting to a network on WiFi.
You will probably have to set the laptop up to Share Folders, and the laptop will definitely require that you have to use a password to log into it. ( mine did not, and the app refused to connect to it until I added a password login )

Use ASUS File Manager... if that works, it will make your file transfers run at network speeds, not USB speeds.

Is the PC connected to the internet? Is there no installing new drivers notification? You could try heading to Lenovo's website and download the PC drivers for the Yoga tablet you have from them.

I appreciate that, but via the Network is 10 times faster, and a lot less messy.

Once I found ASUS File Manager, my phone has not been tied to a cable again.
and, if I am outside the house, I can still send files to my PC... you can't do that with a cable.

No response from the computer at all? Have you tried another USB cable? Some cheapo USB cables are only wired for charging, and not data.

Turn USB debugging ON in Developer Options.

If it is ON, turn it OFF.
