Root [H631/MS631] CyanogenMod 12.1 for LG G Stylo

Sooooo all of these devices getting CM13. Even a freaking Yureka device got CM13, but were still on a CM12.1 build from July. *Sips Tea* Idk what's going on with TeamRegular but I think they completely ditched this phone. There's nothing stopping us from getting new builds nor Marshmallow. Moto G 2014, Galaxy S3 etc. have all had Marshmallow for weeks and we can't even get one build. Dev hasn't responded to anything in this forum. I told UD to come back and help us out. If he decided he wanted to work with our device, we would've been had Marshmallow.

No one here is rushing the dev, because there is no Dev working on this phone. Our device has been abandoned. UD passed this project on to them assuming they could provide updated builds since they have the device on hand. There hasn't been ONE build since UD passed the project on. This phone is way too great to be stuck on stock or non stable CM12.1 build.

$80? Do tell me where you bought it for that much, I paid more than twice as much. If lg updated the l90 which is truly a crap phone, is it that far fetched they'll update the stylo? Like you said it would be extremely easy for someone unaffiliated from lg to do it, it would take no effort for lg to do it themselves.

Read what I said carefully. $80 devices are getting Marshmallow. The S3 is about $80 bucks now. It's a 3 year old phone and it even got Marshmallow. Sure waiting on LG is easier but when it comes to companies like LG, we'll be waiting until March of 2016. They've already announced, their prioritizing their updates for the latest flagship and top tier devices. The LG Stylo is most likely next to last on that list. So ask yourself. Do we wait on a company that has a track record of slow updates or do we, the community, get this thing updated ourselves. It doesn't take a rocket scientists to update this phone. I'm not saying it's easy, but I guarantee you, if my PC's motherboard didn't go out, I would've been had Marshmallow builds up and running for us. The problem is, there just isn't anyone willing to do it. Even the LG L70 got CM13. Let that sink in..

Sucks to see that there's not going to be another build. I really dislike the stock ROM.
I hate stock, from the ugly UI, to the inconsistent material design and the touch sounds. I've always hated stock. It's nothing but a RAM hogging, useless overlay. Everyone is running the newest AOSP and were either stuck between an older version of one or stock when phones older then ours are getting the latest update. It's ridiculous

Dev has officially dropped support for device, and says he knows of no plans for anyone continuing support.

"Unfortunately I am no longer working on devices I do not own. It's ton of work to release numerous test builds. I've officially dropped support for the Stylo , Leon, and idol 3."
And when I said that there was no development months ago I got chewed out by this so called Dev.

Everyone complaining about no progress/ports/roms available for our devices but take consideration isn't easy to port roms without having the device in hand, i personally was helping UD testing /sending logs and so on with CM12.1 port and isn't easy.

Want development goin?

Let find a way on how to get him a Stylo Device (yes im talking about donating either a Tmobile Unlock or Metro most likely cuz he have Metro Service) and you'll see more updates and more CM stable releases that include CM13 (he is good porting roms but to bad doesn't have the device)

I have offered to send a device several times. So did other people.

I told people this project was dead, but the Dev could at least have told people, instead of having people think he was working on it. I don't even understand why he took over the project for our device if he never had the device to begin with. He takes over our device from UD, didn't release one single build, then says it's too hard to release builds without the device? Lol what a joke. You're right, UD could have us builds in no time if we send him a phone. I personally don't have Stylos laying around, but for the ones that do. Why not?

So who is this other dev you're talking about? The one that never dropped a build?
Unjustified Dev was the original Dev for our device. He gaves us TWRP and CM12.1 to begin with. He said he could no longer work on the device without it in hand so TeamRegular stepped up and said they would work on our device from there on out, but they haven't released any new builds. They just re-released Unjustified Devs build under their own thread and now they're saying, they can't work on the device without it in hand also. Lol this is ridiculous

Just FYI Unjustified Dev/TeamRegular/Noobified is the same person/dev.

I could've sworn his name on Android Forums was also Unjustified Dev. Unless he had a different account. I'm confused. Even on Github the build is from TeamRegular but if you look at another device he built for like the LG Tribute, it's under Unjustified Dev. o_O I know UD from the LG Tribute days and even he stopped development on that device because his Logic Board crapped out on him. It makes sense in away I guess
