Here's a question: I'd be coming from Cyanogen 5.1.1 RC5 .. Is it worth the hassle of reinstalling all my apps again for this rom?

Because right now, I have no issues and it's buttery smooth.

Hell, even my mom wants me to install a nice rom on her zmax .. So I'm testing waters for her to get her and myself the best possible rom.

So. In your honest opinions, what's better? Cyanogen or AICP?

AICP is better than CM but BrokenOS blows every other ROM we have out of the water.

I arrived after (or right around the time that) the BrokenOS thread was closed. So I assume it's no longer available here or anywhere? And so AICP is the next best thing?

Related to AICP: what needs to be done to enable adblocking? I'm assuming it's a permission thing. There is no "hosts" file in system/etc and when I try to grant full write permissions to system (and/or etc) using ES File Explorer (with root explorer checked), I get an error saying I can't (don't have the phone with me right now to post the exact words).

I assume I'm not the only one and that this has been addressed in the thread, but the search didn't turn it up for me.
