Android 6.0 Marshmallow is Here !! Post your findings

One thing you might want to do when you update is reboot the phone. I know it reboots after updating, and all those apps update. As soon as you get back to your phone's homescreen, power down the phone and power it back up. I actually had 3 more apps update doing that. You WILL get an error after updating that Google Play Services will not work until it updates. It will. Quickly. So far, so good and Google Now on Tap is just COOL.

I changed the title of the thread, as Marshmallow is here. All of you that have installed and received the update, post all your findings, as you all know many don't like to install new OTA until they see it out in the public release for a while, so by posting your findings, might help others decide. I just got the update and have not installed it yet, but as soon as I do I will post my findings. ;)

1. They charge to 100% and then stop charging. They are then running on the battery. When it drops to a certain level (like 96%) it starts charging again. Taking a device off a charger that has been connected a long time ... the battery may be less than 100%.

2. History has shown that measuring battery the first week after a system update can be very deceiving. The usage will likely be very different form what it normally is.

All the dumb lag and annoying stutters are gone, battery life seems to be worse but the phone might just be settling to the new OS. Phone feels faster. They fixed the bug where if you rotate the screen in a video the sound would mute, not anymore! Now to wait for 6.0.1 :)

Only reason why someone may not want to update is the bugs that Marshmallow has, like I noticed a few minimal app crashes (no well known apps) and if you click the Bluetooth settings, turn the toggle on with the switch, then turn it off... It'll turn itself back on.

Oh, and ambiet display is gone forever now. (The thing that Nexus phones have)

When's the OTA gonna be out already? :(

If it was an iPhone we would have had the update 100 times by now.

But when???

What about Nexus owners who've been using the new OS for two months now?

Now to wait for 6.0.1

All this time waiting for the OTA, you get it, and now you're already waiting for the next OTA? You're just a real edge-of-the-seat kinda guy, aren't you? :D :p
