LG G Stylo 2 Rumors & Wishlist of Spec's

What would some of your hopes be for it?

I guess I'd say at least 32Gb of storage, 3 or 4Gb of ram a 16 to 18mp camera, the 5mp selfie front cam could be left alone, maybe a snapdragon 800 or newer quad core or six core processor as well as 3250mah battery and a more advanced stylus.

I can't wait till we catch wind of what the new version will bring and hopefully that LG will step it up and make it a major competitor to Samsung's Note phoneline.

Also keep removable battery and microSD card slot.

You are looking for a G5 or v10 phablet.

Stylo is a budget phone. And a good one.

I think maybe it was a beta prototype too, to see how well it'd do in sales, it was the second stylus lg smartphone and the first one was the g3 stylus, so I'm hoping if they see that sales did really well with the second revision of the new prototype that they now know to beef up the spec's and make it a real true note series competitor.

How stupid would it be to release a really high-end prototype on a whim of taking a gamble and seeing how well it sells and does in the market, that wouldn't have been a very smart business or manufacturing move on LG's end, especially if it flopped due to a hefty price tag to cover the high-end spec's.

Also I think more then likely the 3rd version will be modeled after the G5, let's take into account the very first LG Stylus phone the G3 Stylus and then we had the G4 Stylus (As it's known as in countries outside of the US) a.k.a. G Stylo, so this trend seems fitting to LG's pattern and method of releases and upgrades each year.

All Im saying is, this aint going to happen
A Stylus isn't going to be a "major competitor to Samsung's Note phoneline"

Note = top of the line memory, cpu, screen, ect.

Stylus = budget line

Well with Progress maybe, I can't say the Stylo would truly compete with the Note but it's trying and if ya look at the upgrade history already the G3 Stylus was lower-end than the G Stylo, so hopefully we'll see a nice decent upgrade prolly to the G Stylo 2, I mean it would make sense considering how few phones ya see that are released with only 16 to 8Gb of storage and what not.

Yea it's also a Snapdragon 805 instead of a 410 like the G Stylo has.

But then again I think the G3 Stylus only supported 4G and was mainly only a internationally released phone, no sign of it in the states.

With that trait and trend we could only hope it'd make sense to a see G5 Stylus/G Stylo 2 with a snapdragon 820 maybe... Or at least we can only dream right!!?!!? LoL

Possibly keep the whole camera setup, just fine tune it for better recording, stabilization and sound.

You guys realize that the G3 Stylus is
Mediatek MT6582 CPU Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7

Which is so inferior to the Snapdragon 410 using A53 cores right? Making the The Lg g stylo faster and have better performance...

If there is a LG G Stylo 2, it probably will have similar or better specs as the LG G Vista 2 (available just for AT&T)
Whichs sports a snapdragon 615 (Octa Core ) and 1080p screen resolution whjch just those 2 specs make it better than the Stylo alone.

You do know this is a budget phone and if there were to be another version of it it would only have a bit more bumped specs and that's a maybe. But here's a suggestion instead of buying that why not consider a past flagship like the G3? That phone is still a beast.

that's the reason i mention LG G Vista 2 which is the same price category as the Stylo when came out just with some Specs Bump, if you go to a AT&T Store and look for the Vista 2 as soon you get to see it you'll think is actually the Stylo , cuz been honest is just the Stylo with better CPU and higher Screen res. the Vista 2 even have a Stylo in the same location and same form as the LG G Stylo.
