Root Changing boot animation on BrokenOS?

Hey everyone, im trying to change the boot animation on BrokenOS but it won't work... Can anyone help me out or is it even possible?

The rom is good and all, i just personally don't like the Broken boot animation...

I had never tried it on Broken because I like it's boot animation, but I just tried it and it worked fine. I used ES File Explorer. Go to Tools and enable Root Explorer. Then tap where it says Root Explorer (the words to the left of the enable Root Explorer switch) and select "Mount R/W." Then I make sure both are checked for r/w. Then I go to /Device/System/Media and rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak . Then I move or copy the new bootanimation zip file to /Device/System/Media and make sure it's named bootanimation.zip. Then I reboot. You have to be in System Write mode to do this, btw.

Oh, and if you are still having trouble, you might look inside the zip file and make sure it's not a flashable zip bootanimation. If there's a meta data folder inside, then it's meant to be flashed in recovery. You can extract it and in one of the folders you will find a bootanimation.zip file to use with the above steps, and if you ever want to get the original boot animation back, you just move or delete the bootanimation.zip file out of there and rename bootanimation.zip.bak back to bootanimation.zip .
