For those who have bought a Nexus 6P, what other Nexus phones have you owned?

This is my first Nexus phone. Got the 64 gb in Frost. My all time favorite phone was the HTC Evo. This 6P is now my 2nd favorite. I absolutely LOVE it. I must confess, I bought my first iPhone this week and promptly returned it. I hated it! Then saw the 6P had $50 off so I bit the bullet. I love it, can't get enough. :D

Here's my Android device CV (current to oldest):
  • Huawei Nexus 6P
  • LG Nexus 5
  • Asus Nexus 7 (2012)
  • Samsung Galaxy Nexus
  • Motorola Xoom (gave this one to my son)
  • Moto Droid X
  • HTC Droid Eris
Still have all of them (except the Xoom) and they're all in excellent working condition (knock on wood ;)).

:)

Note: I pretty-much consider the Xoom a Nexus...unlockable bootloader, first tablet for Google, etc..

Mine gets here Friday! Coming from a Note 3 LOADED with Amazon, Samsung and Verizon bloatware. It's a great phone (Note 3) but after the 5.0 update it started randomly rebooting. Tried isolating the offending app on safe mode but with all the crap on it I wasn't able to. 50 plus hour week job & life, well you know.

Guess what Verizon's answer was.......

I've only owned the galaxy nexus LTE version. thought it was cute how a lot of people had a gnex that didn't get lte. anyway, it was a horrible phone, mostly due to horrible battery life, so I swore off the nexus line until they'd come out with something that had a decent battery (note, i'm not saying good or even gread, 3430 mah for a 5.7" qhd phone is just barely enough).

the good thing about the gnex was that it taught me how to root and rom and modify the living hell out of an android phone.

i was really happy with my droid maxx after 1.5 years with the gnex. the dmaxx had 3500mah battery for a 5" 720p screen which was actually pretty good on battery. unlocked bootloader with sunshine. had that phone for 2.5 years and then verizon threatened to increase my unlimited data cost, so I flipped a free iphone 6s (made about $550), extended my unlimited data contract price for 2 years, and bought the 6p with 128 gigs.

it's a decent phone with a decent battery, but doesn't feel like a huge upgrade from my dmaxx because it's not as comfy to use 1 handed and battery doesn't last as long. but I needed to get something, and i like having unlocked bootloaders. the biggest upgrade is the 128 gigs. so much nicer to not worry about storage and keep lots of nandroid backups on my phone.

Gnex, N7 (2012), N5 and now 6p.
My fondest memory was getting the Galaxy Nexus in all its 4.5" glory because everyone around me was saying "you look ridiculous with that gigantic phone" or comments like "to me a 3.5 to 4 inch screen is the perfect size".

the gnex was 4.65" if I remember correctly. with the onscreen buttons, it felt like a 4.5 though. but the size of the navbar was adjustable.
