Not sure if I am the only person experiencing this but since installing Marshmallow (and 6.0.1) I have had numerous issues with my Nexus 5.
Here is a condensed list of some of the major issues.
1) Bluetooth did not work in my car (does now with 6.0.1)
2) Multiple times a day my phone just switches off (no warning) in various situations like; during a phone call, opening a web page, using an app, others..... Most times the phone cannot be restarted unless I connect to a power source. And yes, I do have battery life when these crashes occur.
3) Battery life is very inconsistent. Drains very quickly and switches (see 2) off when still reporting sufficient battery life.

This Android update has been a complete disaster. Restarting my phone multiple times a day is just not good enough. My phone is almost not usable. When do Google plan on fixing this?

I haven't had any of these problems, even with stock Marshmallow, but I've now gone on to a Marshmallow alternate ROM. What I would try is three things:

1. The easiest (and you'd be surprised how much it can make right, especially battery issues) is the simulated battery pull. You do this by simply holding down the power button. Ignore the shutdown menu that comes up and keep holding the power button until the Nexus 5 spontaneously reboots.

2. The next easiest is to boot into the stock recovery and wipe the cache partition.

2. If neither of the above work, do a factory reset. This will wipe everything except your internal storage and you'll have to redo everything to set up your Nexus 5 again. However, I tend to do this routinely after a major OS OTA upgrade.

Good luck. Hope this helps.
