I hope someone here can help. Just bought a new LG Risio phone from Cricket for my daughter. Set the phone up today and installed Visual Voice Mail. Every other android phone I have ever owned superimposes the number of voice mail messages recorded/unheard in the upper right hand corner of the voice mail app icon, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. On this particular app, it is not doing that. A small icon appears in the upper left of the screen on the notification bar, but it does NOT detail the number of messages recorded. When you open the app, the messages can be played back, saved or deleted as normal. My wife believes there is something wrong with this application and that is why we are NOT seeing a message count number. We have called Cricket three times today trying to get an answer and we cannot seem to get them to understand what we are asking about. I have went through the phones manual and checked all of the settings and I do not believe that this particular app gives you notification of how many messages you have on the icon itself. I believe the operating system here is Lollipop.
