The breakaway micro/nano sim card from my cell provider broke/separated when I inserted it and won't come out. Phone works OK but would like to be able to replace the card if necessary in the future. Thank you.

Are you able to push it down so it releases/pops up? Try pushing with a paperclip if your fingernail wont reach.
Or if it's released try gripping it with a tweeters if it's small enough to fit.

Thanks for your reply. The interface of the punchout nano card is preventing the micro SD from sliding out. The nano card edge is apparently is the problem. Tweezers won't grip the edge of the exposed micro SD card because the chassis is too close to card. I tried a paper clip on the exposed edge of the SD card but that doesn't budge it either. A real special case sort of problem.

Can you get a couple long-bladed exacto knives over or under it and then pop it out? They should be thin enough to get between the card and chassis. Just a thought...

You could also visit your carrier. There is likely someone there who has done it before and can easily do it.

Good idea but concerned about creating a short circuit as not sure how to disconnect battery. I wish a knew more about hiw the micri sd card is retained. Thx.

I had the problem with my Maxx. I went to one Verizon store and there was no help. I went to another Verizon store (that I had never been to before) and one of them fished it out for me. He knew exactly what he was doing and had done it a number of times in the past.
