Root BankerMOD 5.1.1 Kernel

I made my R/W switcher zips this way. I flashed this kernel via Trwp. then once booted up i backed up kernel with Rashr apk...depending on your rom..im on cm12.1...i used cm12's switcher zips as base.....un-zip and deleted both boot img's from your switcher zips..then copy your new kernel img from the Rashr apk "Kernel-Backup's folder" into your un-zipped switcher zips...imporant...RENAME THE BACKED UP KERNEL to......"boot.img" (without quotes)..then re-zip both zips..re-sign the zips..Bam..R/W access with this kernel...

besides with the switcher zip do u also do this same process with the restore zip of deleting boot.img from the zip and replacing with the kernel backup image and renaming it boot.img?

never mind i just realized u said "switcher zips" in your post im assuming u mean both switcher and restore zips

my brain is on delay from waking up for work at 430 am lol if only it was possible I could flash my mind with a new kernel with some new governors I'd be all better lol

I've had a lot of success using this kernel with a rooted stock 4.4.4 MPCS, everything except the standard WiFi not working :(

Using the PegasusQ (or Darkness or Nightmare) freqs base 600mhz-1.59Ghz I was able to chart 18086 on the last v of Antutu.

I know Cyanogen has had a long history of disabling the WiFi on ZTE devices, but I'm asking if anyone else has had a successful WiFi connection with this kernel, I love these governor choices (except Adaptive, which is instant device reboot).

I didn't know this kernel would work in a 4.4. You sure you're in the right thread? @buildyourown

Kernels don't respect operating systems and neither do I.
Yes I'm sure.
Been there, done that.
ZTE is my b.
Okay so apparently 4.4 will boot with this kernel but it was built for 5.1 so you are bound to have issues using it with KitKat. @MonDillinger's ButterKat kernel was built for KitKat though so you might give that a try.

I made a restore zip
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6pbBgp85iSSU2M5QzFmOEZIWU0/view?usp=docslist_api
MD5: 15:59:8e:29:35:e8:75:6b:99:42:1b:40:f9:b8:2a:67

And switcher zip for the new kernel
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6pbBgp85iSSV2NpalZXR0l3bVE/view?usp=docslist_api
MD5: dc:30:c1:f7:42:c5:80:56:f4:e5:fa:bc:c3:f6:3e:c5

I can confirm they both work on Cm 12.1 RC6(perfect)
Link is dead. Love ur work bro. Really would appreciate it if u could repost the switcher and restore please. Would make my own but im still configuring my linux computer and am short on time.
