"Whoops. It does *not* support 32-bit chips. I was mistaken because the download page says the operating system is 32-bit, and it loads on an older laptop that would not work with Remix OS, but that laptop does have a 64-bit processor. When I tried Phoenix OS on a netbook with a 32-bit Intel Atom N270 processor, the operating system would not run."
I got the alpha build of RemixOS, the problem is is my WiFi chipset and Bluetooth hardware won't work. It boots up fine but I have no way to connect to the internet! I love the UI and all but I cannot use it without internet! XD
Haven't tried anything yet but I did notice a file called bootia32.efi, I don't know much about these things but shouldn't that mean it has 32-bit support?
Ok, I know this isn't phone related but I just wanted to show it running in VMWare Player. I haven't been able to get it to install properly yet, all it does is load the command line interface, but I have been able to get it to boot the live cd option (altered the android-x86 live cd).
*edit*
Ok, this is bugging me, I can get it to boot from the cd but no matter what I do I can't get it to boot after installation...
I hope the open source they have for the tablet can be of use in phone mode someday. I'm on win7 (less buggy for my 2133) so I'll try some research. When Curtis explains what he did to make his ROMs portable to this device... I'll try with cygwin
