Root GPS and Camera Issues with roms - Please help!

Okay so I'm having a few issues with pretty much every rom I use on the Awe.

In all 4.1.2 roms, my GPS doesn't work. I normally wouldn't mind but I need my GPS for work. I'm using moonshine rom right now and the phone restarts anytime I turn on the GPS or use any app that requires location to be on. In other stock roms, the GPS simply won't latch on to a location. I tried gps fix apps and tried editing the gps.conf to no avail.

In kit-kat roms, I can't use the front-facing camera OR take a video in Snapchat. Normally not a huge deal but I'm an obsessive snapchatter lol. I tried reflashing the camera fix patch, to no avail. GPS works in kitkat roms though.

Any solutions available for either the GPS fix in 4.1.2 or Snapchat fix in 4.4? Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance!

The KitKat roms are all excellent but I had issues with camera on them all, as well. I have working GPS and camera on L Awe. I think that is probably the most solid rom for the device, and your best bet. Good luck.

I actually just installed the L Awe rom. I love it so much, it's probably the best rom I've found - However, it still has the GPS issues I have with all other 4.1.2 roms

That's interesting to me. I have two Awes, and neither have any issue with GPS on 4.1.2 based roms. I've admittedly not tested it extensively.
What baseband did your Awe come with?

I think that B01 is just a place holder name automatically given in L Awe. Of the two I've had, one has an issue with screen burning, the other has an issue with touch sensitivity on stock. They've definitely got some slightly different hardware in them, but neither had any issue with GPS that Ive observed. I'll see if I can figure out what firmware they shipped with.

I just flashed back to Omni rom so I could have my GPS for work today, still have the snapchat camera issues though. Not a huge deal, I'm just using an alternate snapchat client that has it's own camera software which works fine. I'd still like to try and figure out my GPS problems on stock roms, though

Camera worked fine on L Awe and all other 4.1.2 ROMs. It's the GPS that I can't get to work on any 4.1.2 rom
