How many of the Sony fans think that Xperia Z5's design is top class and how many think it is "OK"?

Sony has persisted with their slab-like, rectangular and linear design over generations.

Z5 is refined and mature version of the Z3 and Z3+ in terms of design, feel and look. I have written about it in detail in my recent article as well.

As a Sony fan, I would like to know how do you see the latest Z5 series design and what do you think Sony should have done differently?

I think it all comes down to where you came from.
In this day and age people change their smartphones at least every 2 years but not many people stick with the same manufacturer (apart from Apple).

If you came from the Z1 to the Z5 (2 years apart, don't let the numbers fool you) you'd prob be slightly disappointed (but your fault for buying) but going from say the Samsung Galaxy S3 to the Z5 you would appreciate premium build and glass-like design.

I'm on the Z3 at the moment and very interested in where my next upgrade will take me. The Z3 is by FAR the best phone I've ever had (I've used flagships at the time from Samsung, Nokia, Apple and Sony). So I'd love to say I will upgrade to the inevitable Z6 but will naturally keep my options open.

I suppose I was thinking the same myself when I went Samsung s2,3,4. They all felt the same. I'm loving the Z5 though. It feels nicer in the hand and I didn't realise how much I hated touchwiz until I didn't have to root to get rid of it. Every Samsung phone I've had I couldn't wait to root it. This one nah, it hasn't crossed my mind. I'm kinda liking the fact that not many people have clocked on that Sony make decent phones as it'll stop the apple lawsuit about they own the rectangle. If too many people like this phone then watch this space... The Z6 will have rounded corners with no glass because rectangles and glass didn't exist before Apple o_O
