Help HTC One M8 EE UK locked stuck on bootloop

Could you please help me out, my phone has been soft bricked (on boot loop), The phone is unrooted and locked on EE UK network. So I'm not sure if I can use custom ROM like TWRP or Clockwoodmod. I have Android SDK installed on my PC. Please suggest the best way of fixing my phone. Below find the result from 'fastboot getvar all' command prompt:

Before trying something more drastic like an RUU - just to check, will the phone definitely not boot properly? Have you tried to force a restart via press and hold power + vol up? Have you tried entering the stock recovery - if it boot loops again you might have to do power + vol up, then when phone is fully off (screen turns fully black) press and hold vol down. This should get you to bootloader, I can't remember off the top of my head if this takes you direct to HBOOT (shows HBOOT highlighted in blue) or not. If the bootloader screen shows FASTBOOT, then use the vol down button to select the Hboot entry from the coloured menu choices below and press power to select. In HBOOT screen there will then be an option to select recovery, and within that there should be an option to clear cache or something like that.

Hi, I have already tried going in the bootloader option, I can access bootloader and HBOOT options are available. I did go in the built-in recovery mode, and cleaned cache, and wiped all data, obviously after removing my sim card & microSD. It has been like this for the last week. The only thing I get is the main boot screen, 'HTC' logo shows and nothing after that. My phone is unrooted, so what would be the next step?

OK, is your bootloader locked or unlocked (does it say LOCKED or UNLOCKED at the top of screen)?

OK, we should be able get you back to a working phone. I need to check there is a stock backup for your CID, assuming you want to get back to stock ROM? Am out today but will get back to you.

I have installed twrp 3.0.0-1 on the phone now. yes, if you can find the stock ROM or any other compatible ROM it would be appreciated.

Next steps to get you up and running you can find in previous post of mine in link below, but in Step 1 you want the first TWRP backup link listed in the linked post on xda for CID ORANG001, and the first stock backup link listed under the 6.xx.xxx.x for 6.12.61.4.

Since you also have very latest version of TWRP you can skip step 3, unless there's any issues with it in which case try version 2.8.7.0 instead.

Note that Step 5) and 6) are optional and I wouldn't recommend doing them unless you satisfied the phone is working again.

Hi, I've just been able to restore my phone to stock version. At the moment I'm going to keep TWRP as it's so useful. Maybe return to stock recovery when it's time to sell the phone. For the time being, I'll keep checking the phone, hopefully it stays good and doesn't have any problems. Thank you for your help.

Yep, good idea. I'd recommend you do a full backup in TWRP to your external sd card after getting everything set up again, so you can restore back if you need to.
