Help Samsung galaxy note 4 question! (again!)

Hi all!

Asked a similar question a while back but wasn't too sure on the answer.

I wish to install football manager touch (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sportsinteractive.fmt16) on my phone. It's not listed as supported. I believe it would work (although possible layout issues) if rooted, however I'm curious as to whether I need to go to the trouble of rooting my phone?

From what I have seen the note 4 is quite complex to root so if I could somehow play this game without going through the hassle that would be great!

What about the mobile version of the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sigames.fmh2016

That looks the same, just without the 3d Match Engine.

SI are pretty receptive so if you email them and ask why it's not compatible, they may have a fix.

It works on my G4 apparently AND is cross system compatible so I could take my Tamworth saved game to work with me! :D

I was told in another thread a few months ago that it would work rooted. They weren't specific as to tell me it would/would not work un-rooted.

I was looking at the touch version as I can link it with my game mode on PC when I'm travelling etc. The mobile version is stripped back and not as detailed :)

Is it the touch or mobile version you having running on your G4?

I really should try contact SI. Thank you

Sorry, I worded that badly. I meant it is compatible (Google Play will let me install it) so I could do as you want to do and take the Tamworth save I have on my PC and play on my phone whilst at work. I've always steered clear of the mobile versions as I didn't know you could do that.

With root, you could change the build.prop so that Play thinks it's another device or running another Android version, but that could cause other problems (I've seen it happen with other devices in the past so it's not something I'd recommend).
